The highlight of this location is definitely the friendly staff. I was traveling by myself for work, and the front-desk staff was always very friendly and attentive, and shared a lot of information both about local sites to see as well as just being a familiar and friendly face. The breakfast was always great, and I did like having views of the city. The room was nice and spacious, and I had plenty of room (especially coming from another hotel in a different country which had a very cramped room). There is also a coffeeshop right next door which was nice for me to get work done in. Overall, great staff and comfortable room!

The service here was amazing, better than most 5 star hotels I've been to. The staffs were nice and courteous. Free breakfast in their rooftop lounge is a plus. The hotel is located in a walkable area of Pham Viet Chanh, highly recommended if you prefer the local experience.

I've stayed at The Bloom Pham Viet Chanh two times already. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and looked even better in real life in my opinion! Very comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything you might need during a short stay. They even provided us with drinking water! Breakfast ,which is already included in the price, was from 6am to 10am. They give you different food and drink options to choose from and also have a small self service bar. The restaurant was very cozy and nicely decorated. All the staff was very welcoming, friendly and communicative. I remember specifically Phuoc and Anh were very helpful and talked in Vietnamese to our drivers for us. Usually I feel shy talking to people that I do not know but they made me feel very comfortable :) I definitely would book them again and recommend this hotel to anyone else who is visiting Saigon!

Excellent in every way!
The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The room was very modern, well-maintained, comfortable and clean. The bed was fantastic. For breakfast there are various choices and all that we had were delicious.

Tres bien et personnel tres aimable.
Quartier voisin du centre de saigon. Arrivée depuis aeroport facilitée par chauffeur commandé par l'hotel. Jours suivants bus à 100m pour aller au centre opera ben tanh ou plus loin comme cho lon. Ideal car ruelle calme dans quartier populaire avec tout ce qu'il faut. Bar et petit dejeuner au dernier etage belle vue. Personnel tres aimable. Nous y reviendrons à notre prochain passage à saigon-HCM ville.

I am visiting my son, who lives in HCM. This property is a two Minute walk to his apartment, so that is why I stayed (and I’m going back at the end of my trip). It’s a very simple property. The jacuzzi on the rooftop isn’t filled. It’s somewhat annoying that you have to decide, the preceding evening, what time you want to eat breakfast the next morning - and you have to tell them what you want to eat, out of their limited options. Bizarre. However, the staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s a budget friendly hotel.

Everything was good. The staff was super helpful. The hotel even organised a countdown party on New Year Eve at the hotel rooftop with live music, snack and champagne. It was only a bit pity that we had a flight to catch early morning the next day, however, the staff was not able to prepare the breakfast for us before 7 am (although we already informed them in advance). So, we just left the hotel without having breakfast.

空港からは車で30分くらい。「下町」的な雰囲気の街にあるホテルで、フロントには、日本語ができる女性が2名というのも心強い。 ホテルから30秒で一番近いカフェ(自家焙煎だって!)があり、朝7時頃にはすでにオープンしていて、タピオカドリンクもある。ベトナム料理屋さんは、露天も含めれば数知れずすべて歩いて行ける範囲。日本食レストランも多い地域(だそうだ)から、ベトナム料理が苦手な方の出張利用でも大丈夫。 部屋にはソファーあり、デスクあり、一応窓あり(外は隣の家の壁でしたが)。ソファーを少し動かせば、スーツケースを広げるスペースは十分取れます。キッチン付きで、ご飯ジャーに鍋、電子レンジ、皿、湯のみ、それからキッチンバサミ、包丁、まな板、スプーンフォークなどのカラトリーもフル装備なので、街で買ってきたフルーツを食べることもできます。 部屋に電話がないことを除けば、Wi-fiも完備なので、不便なことは何もなくて、コンセントだって日本のコンセントプラグそのまま使える便利なものが用意されている。薄型の大きなテレビがあって、Youtubeも見放題だし、チャンネルは100以上あって、NHK World(英語放送)もある。 屋上にはジャグジー(16時~21時、使う旨伝えたほうがいい)と、フィットネス(ランニングマシンとか)、ミニゴルフ場もあって、これらは無料。 玄関に面してフロントがあって24時間対応。玄関はロックがかかっていて、フロントスタッフが開けるか、宿泊者は渡されているカードキーで開ける。地下に駐車場があるが、入り口には必ず警備員さんが複数人いるので、アヤシイ人は入れないっぽい。さらに、部屋にはカードキー。部屋の中には、暗証番号ボタン式のセイフティボックス。 ホーチミン出張、旅行の時は、ぜひ使ってあげてください。このクオリティでこの値段なら、ぜんぜん高くないです。

This is my second visit to The Bloom. Everything else was perfect but this time even though i booked a different room from the first visit, i was given the same room again so that left me quite unpleasantly surprised. One complain is the water dispenser could have been cold or hot but it dispenses neither temperature water. Other than that, The Bloom offers great service to their guests and go out of their way to give you an experience you will never forget. Comfortable room and friendly staffs.
극성수기에 주말을 기점으로 이용하다보니 1군지역이 아님에도 3성급 치고는 가격이 좀 높았지만, 룸 관리상태(청결, 에어컨, 화장실 물빠짐, 하우스키핑 등)가 매우 좋았습니다. 주간 및 야간 직원분 중 최소 1명이상은 영어소통이 가능하셔서 대화하는데도 별다른 문제가 없기 때문에 기본적인 영어만 하실줄 아신다면 큰 불편은 없을 것 같습니다. 만약 본인이 영어를 하지 못한다 해도 구글, 파파고 등 번역기를 이용하면 충분한 의사소통이 가능하니 걱정하지 않아도 될 것 같습니다.

Pros: Brand new and very clean, apartment has large bathroom with dressing room and separate toilet, most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep in when travelling,close to restaurants & bars, hot & cold water cooler in the room. Cons: You need to turn the drain cover over in the shower to stop flooding, paid for breakfast but kitchen wasn't working (was reimbursed for dining outside the hotel but it never came to anything near what we originally paid - the hotel definitely made a profit with this arrangement). **** Beware of booking an airport transfer direct with the hotel.***** They quoted one price and then tried to charge more than 100K extra when we got there saying there was a 'price increase' and having a written quote didn't matter. They also tried to take us to a different hotel after picking us up from the airport saying there was no electricity in the room we had booked. We insisted that we wanted to see the room anyway before making a decision on moving hotel - the electrical problem was suddenly fixed on our way to the hotel. It is a great hotel but don't pay in advance for breakfast or organise an airport transfer.

So the property had a few positives.. it was clean (other than the stairs, full of dust, so bad that my sister tripped and almost broke her arm), the bed was very comfortable and the sofa, I liked the water cooler very sensible idea!! Although the main thing I’m disgusted and outraged with is the communication and customer service I haven’t received!! First of all, when booking this I was aware that the hotel took cash on arrival for the stay which suited me perfectly!! On arrival we didn’t pay nor got asked to, so I presumed cash would be taken on departure.. it didn’t it was the next day (we were staying for 2 nights) that the receptionist asked for the money.. that’s absolutely fine no bother. However one day later when we were elsewhere in Vietnam I checked my account in which money had come out, unfortunately I couldn’t return to Ho Chi Minh as we had a short time in Vietnam and wanted to travel north. Therefore I contacted the property and explained the story they replied with confirmation that this had happened and assured me that the money would be in my account, 2 weeks later back and forth with emails I received nothing!! I then phoned the hotel, once again they told me that it would be put back urgently once they had sorted it out with the bank. It’s now been a month.. no acknowledgment to my last email, completely ignored my mum who has tried to contact them as well!! I would not recommended this place to anyone. I’m truly livid! Stealing from a traveller!!

No pool or rooftop!!!
The pool & rooftop is closed - April 2019. It was obvious they did not want to update the websites with this information. The location is also incorrect and they gave me some excuse - it was the websites fault. The actual room is very modern & clean if you don’t mind being right out of town. I suggest you check the actual address on google maps before you book. For the price is great value especially as taxis are so cheap to get anywhere in Ho Chi Minh because you will have to taxi everywhere. The big bonus was that we did get to see how the locals lived and had an excellent breakfast at a local coffee house we were the only tourists around. Lucky we had only booked for one night as an extended stay - the location would be very annoying
