The property is clean, nicely decorated, and well located in the heart of Hobart, with clear access instructions and ample tea and coffee. The bedding itself was comfortable.However, the property is misrepresented as modern and luxurious; it is superficially renovated and clearly dated in its fittings and overall standard.The bath/shower (over a narrow, sloping bath) was a serious safety concern, particularly for older guests—my husband nearly slipped. Our request for a non-slip bath mat was not addressed.There were also several practical issues: An ill-equipped kitchen (no scourer or brush, difficult drawers), a “pantry” that was actually a water heater cupboard, an unlabelled bathroom heater, and very limited space around the bed, making movement and even making the bed difficult. The oversized sheets addedd to this.Finally, at checkout time, the owner entered the property while we were still packing, which felt intrusive.Overall, while there are positives, the property falls short of its advertised standard, particularly in terms of safety and functionality.
