  • Stone Flower is een mid-1800 schuur die is omgetoverd tot een unieke, comfortabele en luxe een bed accommodatie. Volledig uitgerust, self contained en prive, is het centraal gelegen met in minuten van alle het beste dat Hobart te bieden heeft. Dit is de perfecte romantisch uitje!

    Stone Flower ligt aan de hoofdstraat, aan het einde van een eigen oprit. Het is een mooie, licht gevulde, multi-level woning die feilloos harmoniseert de rijkdom van zijn historische verleden met comfort van het moderne leven. Deze unieke eigenschap is creatief getransformeerd en biedt privacy en comfort.

    De bovenverdieping ruimte baadt in natuurlijk licht en zit onder de oorspronkelijke schuine plafond. Vanuit de prachtige slaapkamer met een heerlijk comfortabele queen-size bed, een stap omhoog in de open badkamer met een grote natte ruimte douche, gespiegeld kasten en prachtige ijdelheid alle gehuld in de warmte van hout en steen. De oude schuur oorspronkelijke ladder fungeert nu als een unieke handdoekenrek! Gast voorzieningen zijn aanwezig.

    Beneden is er een open woonkamer perfect om te ontspannen met een goed boek of voor het bekijken van een film uit de eclectische dvd-collectie voorzien. En het beste van de Australische eigentijds meubilair is aan jou om te genieten. Stap in de volledig uitgeruste, gastronomische keuken en koken tot een storm. Culinaire hoogstandjes zijn verkrijgbaar bij verschillende gunstig gelegen kruideniers waaronder de geliefde Hill St Grocer, Salamanca Fresh, Wursthaus Keuken, Salamanca Market (op zaterdag), alsook de normale supermarkten. De op maat gemaakte eettafel is gerecycleerd uit balken overgebleven van de renovatie en biedt plaats aan vier personen.

    Er is vloerverwarming, zowel boven en beneden en een panel kachels in de slaapkamer en woonkamer. Er is ook een kleine buitenruimte en een parkeerplaats voor een auto.

An incredible property that made coming home after a day out-and-about, a real pleasure. It felt so cozy, clean and a place you could really relax. What a treat! Would 100% stay here again. It really was perfect.

We had a lovely stay at Stone Flower Renovated Barn. Full of character and beautifully designed/set up and within walking distance of the city and Salamanca (provided you don’t mind the odd hill). Lovely provisions left for us too. Thanks Eve!

A great example place for a weekend away

A place to spend 5 days. Great central location for exploring Hobart and surrounding areas (note if you are walking the property is situated on a very steep hill). The accommodation is warm and inviting. Felt totally at home - towels, linen, furniture, crockery are all of a high standard. Kitchen was well planned, contained good quality appliances and met all of our needs. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are stunning with an open plan layout, making it feel extremely spacious - just aware the toilet while in a separate space is also open plan. A beautiful place to spend a weekend.

Delightful architectural barn renovation with everything you could need. Beautifully presented and a wonderful base for a stay in Hobart. Walking distance to the centre of town through some interesting old neighbourhoods. Will definitely be back.

Great getaway close to the Hobart CBD

Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stone Flower, a beautifully constructed building easily maintainable for a couple with all of the amenities required to both stay in and cook or come back to after a night out. An ideal location in the west of Hobart with only a 20 min walk to the likes of the Salamanca market and beautiful pier. Likewise, it is only a 10-15 min walk to the CBD. The property manager was an absolute delight to communicate with and provided great recommendations for our stay. If you are staying in Hobart for an extended period or just a weekend away I cannot recommend this property any higher as it was just delightful.

Architecturally splendid hideaway in pretty neighbourhood

We loved Stone Flower Barn! If you are even remotely interested in architecture you’ll appreciate the beauty of the material and the clever interiors of the barn, including a view of the harbour from the shower and the natural light pouring in everywhere. Very generous breakfast provisions were waiting for us on arrival and the bed is absolutely plush - I didn’t want to get out of it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little home

Wow, what a lovely little gem we found. Not far to walk to the city and docks and the place has been beautifully renovated. The house is also spotlessly clean which is a big thing for me! The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The only thing to mention (and the owner did mention when we booked but I didn't realise to what extent). The driveway you have to drive down to get to the house which is at the back is VERY narrow. The owner did let us know so I made sure I booked a small rental car but that was even hard to get in and out so make sure you get the smallest car available as at the moment you can't park on the road. Other than that this is a beautiful home so thank you :-)

Great blend of old and new

Really loved this contemporary barn conversion. Loved the location that offered great views across Hobart. Beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings that gives a cosy feel. Clean and quiet residence within walking distance of Hobart and Salamanca ( about 20 minutes), that exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful couple's accommodation

We had a nice weekend in Hobart staying at this fancy renovated barn. Great character to the accommodation and made to feel at home with breakfast supplies. Only critique is that car access is narrow and not suitable for anything but a small sedan and all surrounding streets have parking restrictions.
