'This hotel is a few minutes from the station and the beach. Well organized and clean. People are very helpful. Kumano City is not a very touristic area and you need some basic Japanese.
In the surroundings are beautiful nature trails along the coast and wonderful rice terraces in the mountains. The tourist information opposite the station has lots of valuable information, also in English. '

'I am so happy I found Hotel New Palace. The rooms are clean and large, staff is gracious, breakfast is really good. The onsen is a bonus. So nice for a relaxing soak every evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here in the future if I return to Shingu. '
