Waikiki is de nummer één toeristische bestemming van Hawaï. Het penthouse appartement heeft uitzicht op de oceaan en ligt op een steenworp afstand van Waikiki Beach en heeft een gedeeltelijk uitzicht op de iconische hellingen van Diamond Head Crater. Het is een korte wandeling naar het Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hale Koa en het Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Met een complete renovatie in 2018 is het het beste van twee werelden, de schilderachtige Waikiki uit de jaren 60 met jaloezievensters, originele teakhouten parketvloeren in de ingang en woonkamer, prachtige betegelde badkamers en vloeren in zowel baden als keuken. Geniet van uw verblijf met overdekte parkeerplaats, wifi internet en kabeltelevisie die zijn inbegrepen zonder extra kosten. Vanaf augustus 2019 hebben we airconditioning verdeeld in alle 3 slaapkamers en in de woonkamer / eetkamer. Er zijn geen verborgen resorttoeslagen en gezinnen van 8 personen kunnen bij elkaar blijven met alle voorzieningen van thuis en nog veel meer!

In de omgeving zijn het 500 hectare grote Kapiolani Park, Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu Zoo en enkele van de beste restaurants en de populairste uitgaansgelegenheden van Hawaii. Het lonkt een langzamere tijd, luisterend naar Hawaiiaanse muziek en geniet van een cocktail van de uitgestrekte wrap-around Lanai. Slechts een paar stappen naar het einde van de Beach Walk-weg zijn de Halekulani en het huis zonder sleutel, een populaire ontmoetingsplek binnen en buiten vereeuwigd in een gelijknamige roman van Charlie Chan uit 1925.

The Penthouse

we stayed at Mark‘s place for 10 days. Upon arrival until we departed we did not have to need anything. His place is well equipped, clean, roomy, and has nice bathroom products. Whenever I had an issue, Mark was great to reply promptly and resolve the issue if he could. I would encourage anybody with a family to go there. You won’t be disappointed. It’s walking distance to everything, the downtown Waikiki shopping, to the beach, to the souvenir stores, it’s got everything you need right there. And he also gives you a parking space so if you wanna go a little further out in Rent-A-Car, you’re all set. Mark was a wonderful host and I met some of his staff and they’re amazing as well if I go back again, that’s where I’ll stay! Aloha.

Good & Bad- Honest review

This location offered close beach and store/restaurant access. Along with the 3 bedrooms we required. There are also some negatives that i wish i would have know because they would have been a deal breakers. 1st - the elevator only goes to 10th floor, you have to then walk up a flight of stairs to get to penthouse. I need a knee replacement so this proved challenging. 2nd - me and my son shared the room by front door, the garbage men pick up garbage at 2am everyday. So everyday we got woken up at 2am hearing the garbage being dumped in alley. 3rd- yes there is parking but its a very small garage on bottom of building. Very hard to maneuver in and out of. 4th - the furniture is VERY broken in, meaning not supportive or comfortable. So this is penthouse on 11th floor,

great family location on Waikiki

My wife and I stayed here with our son and his family (wife and children 13, 11, and 9). The unit was great with fantastic view of Waikiki including the Friday night fireworks display. /it was just 5 minutes off the beach on Waikiki and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels were provided for our use. There were lanais on eacj each end with seating on both. We loved staying here, and it was a very beautiful and classy introduction to Hawaii for my our son's family. Mahalo!

Family vacation

Excellent place with lots of space and walking distance to food/shopping. Enjoyed the lanai, you can see fireworks at night. Conveniently had supplies for the beach: chairs, umbrella, towels & some beach toys which came in handy. Parking was a little tight but worked for our van. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay by Waikiki beach

Great location and size! The penthouse is located close to Waikiki beach and has a beautiful view of the skyline on both sides of the wrap around balcony. Really spacious 3 bedroom with large living room. Mark is very responsive and the access is secure since you need an elevator key. The building is really close to the shopping street, with all brand names stores. Highly recommend! Hope to be back.

Great Waikiki Location and Views

Centrally located close to the beach and eateries. Great views and easy assigned parking spot. Beds are all comfortable and the unit was clean. Our adult group loved this property. You may not want to stay here if you cannot walk up a flight of stairs, you have little kids or if city noise at night bothers you.

Located in a perfect area of Waikiki--1000 steps to the beach. Penthouse with a wrap around veranda. We could see the water despite being a block from the beach. Great restaurants, great shopping. Such a lovely penthouse condo and so comfortable.

Great location!

Stayed five nights with a big family. The penthouse is located in the middle of major tourist attractions. The beach, restaurants, and stores, we could find almost everything nearby. There was a reviewer saying a bit noisy at night, but it is just acceptable for such a life in the middle of the tourist city. Mark, the host of the penthouse, was really helpful. We arrived earlier than expected, and he allowed us to check in ahead of time. We were so grateful for this offer, especially after a long flight. We really enjoyed the stay in Waikiki. The three bedroom penthouse may be too big for a group of two or three, it’s perfect for a family. We highly recommend.

Location was perfect. Very close to beach, Shave Ice on bottom level. Great Italian food next door. ABC for essentials a couple doors down. Starbucks 5 min walk away. Only bit that was lacking were the extra touches like stocked coffee, bathroom toiletries, and needs updated decor. There was also a small set of stairs from 10th to 11th level that was unexpected and a little difficult with luggage.

Great location for large family

This is a prime location to stay. We did rent a car and it was nice to have a parking space included. The host responded well when needed. We did not have any issues during our stay. Had perfect view of the Friday night fireworks from the balcony. It was a short 2 block walk to the beach. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Nice to have the ABC store if we needed something in a pinch just right at the bottom of the VRBO. Best snow cone shack as well right there. If we had to do it again we agree this was a great place. Allowed Everyone to be in one spot vs multiple hotel rooms. Nice to have a kitchen. We only utilized the refrigerator which was a nice full size one. On weekends it can get a little noisy. I did bring ear plugs and they help block out the nightlife noise.

Spacious comfortable and very central older apartment. No elevator from the 10th floor. Great balconies but main bedroom quite noisy with continual aircon on neighbouring roof top. We really enjoyed our stay thank you Mark Ps batteries missing from tv remote
