'Overall the stay was good. The location was perfect. The unit is a bit smaller than depicted in the photograph. We enjoyed the small balcony looking out on Ft Derussy having a coffee in the early mornings. We had a nice view of Diamond head and beach. It was reasonable walking distance to Waikiki beach, the Hale Koa and Hilton Hawiian Village. Nice little shop on ground floor with good quality Hawiian clothing. 'The location would be 5 stars. However, the room was small and the furniture was outdated. The kitchenette was adequate for making coffee and using microwave. The view was very nice and only a 6-7 minute walk to the beach. There was a dead roach on bathroom floor when we arrived and the mattress was not comfortable. If the room was updated and had a new mattress, it would have been 5 stars. The free parking was a perk as parking in the city is very expensive. Overall, for the money, it wasn't a...
