The Marine Surf Condominium ligt in het midden van Waikiki. Slechts een paar minuten lopen naar de wereldberoemde Waikiki Beach, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, belastingvrije winkels en een veelvoud aan restaurants in de buurt dit gebouw. Gunstig gelegen nabij de bushalte, is dit veilig gebouw toegankelijk via een fob sleutel die de garage, de lobby en de lift opent. Coin bediende wasmachine en droger is op elke verdieping en het zwembad is op de 4e verdieping. Dit is een hoekopstelling op Marine surfen. Het is luchtig en gezellig. De unit is gerenoveerd mei 2011. Dit toestel heeft een unieke lay-out van 1 ligbad and1 half bad voor de gasten handig.
Geniet van uitzicht op de bergen vanuit de woonkamer, die twee veranda, slaapkamer ook toegankelijk voor Lanai heeft.

Really great place

Terrible wind noise but if you do not mind that then it’s not an issue. Also, one of the bathrooms had some ants but it did not really bother me it was only a few. Would stay here again for sure the issues were not a big deterrent for me!

Great place in Waikiki, roomy, clean, convenient location.

Nicely appointed condo; good size kitchen with all the necessities; living dining area and 1 1/2 bathrooms and 1 bedroom were all large enough for 4 people to be comfortable there; plenty of clean towels; 2 balconies with nice views; very reasonable price.

Bien situé, mais très bruyant

Le condo est très propre et bien situé, au coeur du quartier très touristique de Waikiki. Par contre, c'est un emplacement très bruyant : circulation automobile, gens qui fêtent dans la rue jusqu'à très tard, sirènes de police/ambulance. Lorsque nous y étions, il y avait beaucoup de vent à Honolulu et le bruit des rafales dans les portes et fenêtres ajoutaient à tout ce bruit. Le condo est près des restaurants, épiceries et autres boutiques, tout se fait facilement à pied. Il est très simplement meublé et la cuisine est peu équipée. C'est possible de s'y faire à manger, mais il faut pratiquement que ça ne soit que des repas à faire réchauffer. Aucun "garde-manger" de base avec sel/poivre, huile ou même filtre à café. Même chose pour laveuse-sécheuse : très pratique, mais il faut prévoir le savon à lessive. La piscine est agréable, quoique petite et plutôt exposée au soleil (peu d'ombre). À part une chaise pour la plage, rien n'est fourni dans le condo (pas de serviette de plage, cooler ou parasol). C'est un endroit parfait quand on veut être près de tout et qu'on aime la vie urbaine des grandes villes américaines.

Nice unit, good location

We loved the size of the unit & that it has a washer & dryer in the unit. There were a few minor things that didn't get cleaned prior to our arrival, I notified the host & the immediately offer to come make it right the next morning but we had already done it so we declined the offer, but really appreciated them responding so quickly & being very kind about the situation. The parking garage is a very tight space & people do drive a little crazy for a parking garage. The biggest negatives were probably that 2 out of our 6 nights we had to evacuate for false fire alarms, the 2nd time wasn't as bad because there was some sort of short happening in a full time residents unit, but was still a false alarm. The steak house downstairs was the cause of the firdt false alarm, because the kitchen & lobby hallway get too hot & set the alarm off & they didn't evacuate any guests or employees during either fire alarms at any point. The beds arent very comfortable & Then in the book of info for the room should be updated, as of now it states you have to wash all the linens & remake the bed before you leave for check out & also that you have to leave both sets of keys in the room, but you can't use the elevator without a key fob. I called & spoke with them firdt thing on my departure day & they said that there was absolutely no need to wash any of the bedding (I paid a cleaning fee at booking) and she also allowed us to put 1 set of keys back in the mailbox so we could still use the elevator to leave. I did get stuck in elevator 1 for a little over an hour, the morning after the 1st fire alarm & the 2nd fire alarm happened the following night lol, but the building security or maintenance worker was super nice & called the fire department to get me out & the fire department was incredible all 3 times we encountered them. They didn't have stickers for my daughter so they invited us to the station so she could meet more fire fighters & get some small souvenirs from them. If I come back to the area & this unit is available I would definitely stay again

Wide open and perfect walking location

There was so much space in the living room, bedroom, and even the 1.5 bathrooms felt great. The parking and location is right in the heart of Waikiki. 2-3 mins from restaurants and 5 mins to the beach.

Pro: Location was amazing as well as the view from the condos. It is closed to everything and parking is great. Con: the whole kitchen smells of urine. We couldn’t identify a specific spot of the smell comes from. Every times we come back to the condo, that was the first thing we smell. The linens were not clean, it smells like old and used linens even after we washed and changed a new sheets. Toilet seats are way too small for adults.

Big 1BR Unit at a GREAT location

The unit is larger than pictured. We were surprised how large the bedroom was for waikiki standard. It was perfect for us to set up our baby’s bed and changing area. It had all the things we needed for a home away from home experience. The washer and dryer within the unit was nice to have especially with an infant. Location is great. Right in the middle of Waikiki’s shopping district. And only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The management is very responsive. And PROMPT. They were very flexible with our check in and check out times. Very easy to work with. The unit itself needs a little TLC, the curtains are quite old and dusty and looks like it was never changed. The walls had some chipped and scratched paints. The bathroom needs an extra cleaning for sure. BUT everything was functional and we did not have any issues during our stay. We definitely recommend this to family travelers. We enjoyed our stay here and would rent it again.

Fantastic, well-priced listing

Despite some difficulty checking in, this listing is well worth the price, esp once you consider the added benefit of free parking. The location is ultra prime, with the beach and strip within immediate walking distance. Was most impressed with how well-equipped the kitchen was, which is a plus if you’re budget conscious. Highly recommend this listing and would come back no hesitation in the future.

Location was great and so was the 12th floor view. Unfortunately (not within control of anyone) there was constant road repair noise directly below our unit. The unit is large and airy. We were asked by the management to remove our shoes (which is common in Hawaii), however I was shocked to find the floors, especially the kitchen not clean. I took a white paper towel and wiped a spot in the kitchen and it turned completely black. I did not check the other floor areas. There was not enough flatware for 3 people and the management company was extremely prompt in bringing in a new set along with more glass tumblers. Very quiet building inside.

Great Accommodations

Overall the accommodations that were listed was very good. Had a bit of a problem with the TV, management quickly came to assist. Just one concern, the need of safety bars in the bath/shower tub. Mahalo for the use of this site. Would very much rent again.
