'Great little place in Kirra. We had room number 3 which was spacious with the exception of the bathroom. But don't bother about this, because you won't spend to much time there. Shower quality was great, but most of all, everything was up to par. Yes you could hear the road and airplanes, but the bed was great, and the airco quiet. and most of all, great coffee, nice people and a spacious fridge. The deck has a nice seating area, and towels you can borrow. Parking is free alongside the motel...

'Well-appointed, comfortable cabin in a lovely setting. Interior is spacious with kitchen area separated from living area and bedroom. Bathroom is a bit cramped with cabinet overshadowing the sink. Furnishings are in excellent condition and comfortable. Interesting art work on the walls. '

'Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. '

Attentive staff, beautiful food, amazing location, Spa and amenities… and did I mention the Whale activity up and down the beach???Wow!! We could not say enough about the Halcyon experience. 'Es war alles super und wie wir es erwartet hatten. Zimmer war sehr groß und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Ein Gym ist das einzige was wir vermisst haben. '
