'Lovely little hotel. We had the clean, comfortable, modern, front room with balcony over the street and beautiful mountain view through double sliding glass doors. Two double beds, and nice, clean, modern bathroom. Great service as well!'

'The location to this hotel is very nice, walking distance to the main square and the views from the balcony rooms are beautiful. The photos are nicer than the actual hotel itself and the balconies are small with no chairs like the photos suggest. There is no heating available and I only had hot water for half of my stay there which was upsetting since it was very cold. However the bed was comfortable enough ,it was clean, but an older room and the staff is nice. To get into the building you...

'Onhandige locatie. Geen fijne buurt: langs verkeersriool. Meest verbazingwekkend was dat niemand in hotel Engels sprak cq begreep. Bij een 'coffee'-verzoek keek jong meisje je aan of je gek was. Bij vraag om 'a cold beer', waarbij je als gast gemakshalve maar even bierflesje in een vitrine aanwees, wilde ze het flesje uit vitrine halen. Ik zal toch niet de eerste zijn geweest die in dat hotel een verfrissend biertje wilde bestellen?!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed the one night we spent on property. The room was immaculate, so pretty and updated. We had a jacuzzi suite. There was really only enough hot water to fill it, then that’s it. Very typical for the country/area. They were sure to provide extra blankets in the room already, as it does get chilly in Cuzco at night. They provided towels and robes, with little tea candles lit by the tub. In the morning, they brought us breakfast to our room, which was such a nice touch. Be aware...

The hotel itself is very basic, you need to ask the reception before taking a shower for warm water, and we needed to ask for a second towel every day, as we only received one towel for two people. Nevertheless the staff was very happy to help with this. The hotel is only a 15min walk from the main square, so I can recommend the hotel if you are looking for a budget...

"Me alojé durante 14 días con total satisfacción en Wifala Thematic Hotel. Durante mis excursiones a Machu Picchu y Puerto Maldonado, pude dejar mi equipaje de forma segura — muy bien organizado.
Lo que realmente hace especial a este hotel son las personas. Las colaboradoras Odalys y Genali dieron vida a mi estancia: siempre atentas, con buena disposición para ayudar (incluso con opciones de desayuno y excursiones), puntuales y abiertas a sugerencias. Su dedicación y amabilidad merecen un gran reconocimiento.
Algunos puntos a mejorar: en mi habitación había un perchero, pero sin perchas — sería útil para ventilar o secar la ropa. Además, los envases del jabón y el champú son difíciles de abrir sin tijeras, lo cual no es práctico, especialmente bajo la ducha. Un cierre más sencillo mejoraría mucho la experiencia.
La temperatura en el alojamiento es bastante fresca — incluso el personal lleva chalecos térmicos por algo. Afortunadamente, la ropa de cama es abrigadora y permite descansar bien.
El hotel está un poco alejado del centro, pero eso también tiene su encanto: uno se sumerge entre los locales, disfruta de la música y los bailes en la plaza de la iglesia, y conoce el Cusco auténtico. Incluso las pegajosas melodías del desayuno terminan por gustarte: ¡heey-ho haa-jo!
En resumen: una estancia cálida y hospitalaria, con un servicio humano y espacio para seguir mejorando. Guardo un recuerdo muy grato de este lugar."

"Mooi hotel. Zaten in kamers onder de grond, uitzicht op een oude Inca muur. Maar die staat letterlijk 30cm of zo vanaf het raam. Daardoor nul dag licht in de kamer. En je kan het raam niet open zetten. Super lekker bed, goede airco, mooie maar verouderde badkamer & inrichting."
