'We stayed at The Grand last weekend for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic, right next to the York wall and only a 5-minute walk into the town centre.
The hotel staff were so welcoming, and the doormen in particular were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We parked in the NCP car park just around the corner, which was really convenient.

"Prettig hotel. Kamersleutel nodig om lift te bedienen en trappenhuis te openen vanaf begane grond. Dat vind ik een prima beveiliging, hoewel niet waterdicht. Engels ontbijt, mag wat meer continentaal. Vriendelijk personeel. Schoonmaak goed. We hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad."
