'Very historic property which is close to train station and all sites of interest. Overall great service. It should be noted that there is no AC nor elevator do to historic nature of property. Usually not a big deal as it is seldom "warm" in York and there are staff who will assist if one needs help with luggage. Bathroom was wonderful.'

Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid.
There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all.

"Prettig hotel. Kamersleutel nodig om lift te bedienen en trappenhuis te openen vanaf begane grond. Dat vind ik een prima beveiliging, hoewel niet waterdicht. Engels ontbijt, mag wat meer continentaal. Vriendelijk personeel. Schoonmaak goed. We hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad."
