'Good communication prior to the stay and accommodation clean and presented nicely. Howver it was tiny and not like the pictures. No space at all outside, conservatory was too hot to sit in which was the only area with seats. The bed had no room to get out either side. Not as advertised'

'The hotel rooms were fine although a bit outdated, but the noise in the evening from the street and hotel club downstairs were pretty annoying. The showers also can't accomodate anyone above 5'10, which is rather unpleasant. The breakfast however was lovely and the staff very friendly. The price of the room was also good.'

'Prima locatie om te overnachten op doorreis van Nederland naar Ierland en vice versa. Het ligt vlakbij de snelweg en toch mooi in de natuur. De eigenaren (NL-EN echtpaar) zijn persoonlijk en gastvrij. Er is een gemoedelijke sfeer. Het is een prachtig gebouw, doet denken aan een oud kerkje. Je kunt binnen en buiten zitten. 'Het is een handige lokatie tussen Oxford en Bath welke steden wij wilden bezoeken zonder steeds een ander hotel te moeten bezoeken. Het hotel is een echt wat ouder hotel maar de kamers waren schoon, het meubilair gedateerd maar dat heet tegenwoordig vintage dus eigenlijk helemaal uptodate. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en het eten in de Pub was goed ook het ontbijt was simpel maar goed, je kon oa kiezen uit een full English, toast with eggs of cereals.
