'Parking is very convenient and close to the village centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very small and not what was advertised. It had a skylight but no windows. Towel warmer didn’t work. Breakfast hours were advertised for 9-10:30. When we arrived at 10 they told us breakfast was closed, but when I pointed out their own hours listed on the card, they did make us breakfast.'

'We would not have booked here if we had known the Saturday breakfast was 9am to 10am. There is no information about breakfast times on the booking process. The TV was totally unusable as I do not have a modern PhD. I simply could not understand all this internet stuff. The Wifi speed was slow, less than 1mbps. Besides that, clean comfortable room, excellent real beer in the bar.'

'Mooie B&B met een uitstekend restaurant.'

'The room was spotless beautifully furnished. We had endless tea, coffee milk and biscuits. The staff could not have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble The restaurant and bar was clean and very comfortable. The food was fabulous, well prepared. Added to all this you have a very large car park Would recommend this hotel and give it 10/10.'

'Older property, but clean and tidy. Good location for walk/bus into Oxford and useful having parking. Staff helpful and friendly. Good selection of shops and eating places in Summertown.'

'Super gezellig ontvangen, prachtige kamer, goede bedden en geweldig ontbijt. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. nb zou goed zijn om in de buurt een oplaadpunt te hebben voor een EV ;-)'

'Fantastische plek met bijzonder vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw'

'Superleuk dt er een mini Stonegenge voor de deur staat. Onze kamer was vies.

'I picked this property as we had tickets for a gig at the O2 Academy and wow, it could not have been any closer! Literally a 20 second walk across the road, which when the gig finished was amazing to be able to just fall straight into bed! The place itself is fine, could be better but as a one night stay it was perfectly adequate. The code for the door was emailed to me and worked perfectly, we had no issues. The showers are pretty rubbish (we had 2 rooms and both were the same), the shower...

'Een verborgen paradijsje. Een schattige cottage in landelijke omgeving, vlakbij Bath en andere leuke Cotswold plaatsjes. Het ontbijt en de gastheer waren uitstekend. We zouden zo terugkeren voor meerdere dagen. '

'We really enjoyed our stay at The George. It was authentic, absolutely clean as a whistle and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It is an authentic old inn so there were some creaky floors but it fine for us. The staff and the food were amazing. I would stay here again.'

'Leigh Anne and Harriet loved our stay at Windylands. Our host Richard was wonderful and we loved talking to him. Our breakfast was delicious. What a wonderful stay!!'

'This is a great place to stay; we had a good time here. The room was very nice, dinner was delicious and breakfast was excellent. The hotel personnel is very friendly.'

'Rooms are modern and nice. The rest wasn’t great at all. Half of the breakfast items were ‘unavailable’, the beer garden outside is full of litter and there’s glasses on the wall that look like they’ve been there for months.'
