'We had a great stay at this hotel in Novato. The room was spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day, which worked perfectly for us and kept everything clean and tidy.
The free breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff was always nearby to refill items and make sure guests had everything they needed. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.
If we come back to Novato, we will definitely stay here...

'The room we stayed in had significant damage to the bathtub, missing chunks of the tub finish, giving big rusted, rough spots. We ended up avoiding the shower all together because of it. Fortunately it was just 1 night stay. Walls in the bathroom were pretty dirty, like they hadn't been wiped down for several weeks. 'The big problem was checkin staff, they insisted I was not in the computer despite my copy of my confirmation number, my Real ID drivers license etc. They were impatient and incompetent, particularly in dealing with the names and paper work, and were not pleasant about it. To my shock we were basically raising our voices at each other and I was MOST uncomfortable about this.I finally did convince them of my identity, but it was a very poor experience in a very mediocre and minimal facility.

'Excellent stay, especially coming in with the kids. I really liked the architecture, it's just as photogenic as in the pictures. Breakfast, ingredients, taste was surprisingly good. The custom made omelettes were pretty tasty. Complimentary happy hour drinks included with the stay also does not hurt!'

'Do NOT stay here! It was not a clean place I felt dirty the whole time. The room smelled so gross and musty. One of the pillows had dirt on it. There were stains on the carpet as well. I didn’t have a private bathroom and had to share one and being a young single woman I was scared and the booking didn’t even specify I wouldn’t have my own bathroom. The service was so bad there was only like two people working there. Save your money and book somewhere else!!!'
