'First, the place is on beautiful grounds. There are monkeys and parrots and cuckoos in the trees and it is very lush and green. Inside is not so great. Water pressure was marginal for the shower- just a trickle. The bed was a plastic-encased hard mattress covered with a top sheet. The AC and the WiFi worked, but this was not worth the price at all. Plus, though it seems close to LUN on the map, it isn’t. 30 min taxi to get there. '

'I stayed in the hotel for 10 days on business. It is a calm oasis outside the city centre, very well maintained, with clean rooms and public areas. The staff are helpful and pleasant. 'Wij zijn hier in de avond gearriveerd en de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrokken. Onze kamer was een 3 onder één kap. Laagbouw. Dit geeft een heerlijk gevoel van vrijheid. Klein terras voor de deur. De kamer is schoon en netjes. Badkamer niet overdreven groot. We hebben in het hotel zowel 's avonds gegeven als ontbeten omdat we niets in de buurt zagen en geen zin/tijd om te zoeken. Het eten is niet heel bijzonder, noch de locatie. De pizza (niet besteld) was heerlijk! Het ontbijt - men wil alles...

Main problem is that in the details the cleanliness could and should be better: especially the joints between the tiles. 'Great and helpful staff in both locatons of Natwange. For a backpacker place we found it a bit expensive. We had the chance to sleep in two different bedrooms, and one of them had a good comfy bed whereas the other felt like it would break if we move. Not sure about the difference between the two locations. It would make the place also better with refurbished common bathrooms which need a makeover. Hotel transfer from airport was useful but also bit expensive for 25$. We ordered food once...

'Sam the general Manager is very helpful and goes out of his way to assist you whenever he can. The staff are very friendly and give you the feeling that they are to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible nothing seems to be to much trouble. 'We love staying at the Neelkanth Sarovar—it is such a lovely hotel—in fact, I would argue it’s the very best in Lusaka. The deluxe rooms are so spacious and comfortable with a separate seating area and a kitchen, including a cooktop for preparing small meals. I also appreciate the washer with a semi-enclosed balcony for hanging our clothes to dry. This is my 4th or 5th time to stay here, and I’m sure I will stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar again the next time I’m in Lusaka. '
