'Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. We were the only guests at the camp because we stayed at the beginning of the rainy/off season and they were so attentive to us, taking care of all our needs. The food is great and the chef works hard to present you wonderful meals. He also catered to our weird food needs. One of the Maasai took us on game drives around Maasai Mara Reserve...

'We loved staying at the Mara Major Lodge. Yes, it was pricey… but worth it. The tentalows are lovely and we got to hear many wild animals during the night, the staff was LOVELY and helped us plan all our excursions from A-Z! Special shoutout to our sweet game driver Sam. All the staff was Maasai as well, which was a lovely cultural immersion and they were all very open and friendly. Oh and the entrance to the park is so close, you can see it from the lodge! So convenient. '

'Amazing experience on the Mara! The most memorable of my travels this year so far. Everything from food to transport and game drives was arranged impeccably. The Masai hosting and guarding us were very nice and cooked delicious food. We saw many animals on the game drives and our driver John was a great guide. 'We just completed our stay at Mara Intrepid camp. It was an unforgettable experience! Great location right on the Talek River. Excellent food with lots of options (plus a full bar), and the staff really go out of their way to ensure the comfort of each and every guest. The tents have lots of space and all the comforts we are used to at home. If you’re booking a safari game drive with them, do insist on a Toyota Land Cruiser over the Land Rover.'

'we did your honeymoon here and it was the most amazing experience! can't thank the staff here enough for making super memorable. They should let guests know that are booking that "full board" means fine dining because we were not expecting such high quality food and service. will visit this place again. For game drives make sure you go with Dominic he was amazing!'
