'The pictures are not at all like the actual property. It’s very outdated. Has a really bad old musty smell. We had to unfortunately check out a few hours after checking in. I have stayed at many hyatts. I am surprised the chain actually claims this place. We ended up changing hotels to tue Hyatt Galleria. That property was heavenly after experiencing this. I will say the staff at Hyatt Houston West are very helpful and kind. 5 stars for the staff, just not the property.'

'Staff was great'

'This was the cheapest room available and that was noticeable… The first room had an incredible dirty bathroom, after discussing this with the front desk, we we’re offered a new room. This was the handicapped room. Unfortunately this bathroom wasnt much cleaner. Later the evening we found out that one of the showers didnt work… On the positive side; we had an early flight, before breakfast started, but we we’re offered some fruit and coffee by the kind lady working the early monring front desk...
