'Riverview Hotel is right above Seagles (restaurant and separate bar) with great priced drinks. Across the street, I’d recommend Souther River Walk for dinner, it’s always great food and service). Both places had live entertainment on their patios. Riverview Hotel was great! George checked us in and he was kind, even offered us an umbrella when he found out we were walking around the riverfront (it looked like it was going to rain). '

'Excellent stay .... although it was an older hotel it was exactly what I needed for "2" days !!! Clean and good bed and good pillows !!! No bells nor whistles but "2" nights for one pricing !!!! Other hotels adjacent and nearby were much more expensive and I wasn't entertaining guests I was sleeping and a place to chill .... '

'My wife and I stayed weekend of July 26. We enjoyed the quaint quiet retreat. Pool was amazing. Breakfast was like a Michelin star chef was cooking these very nice and succulent breakfast dishes. The convenience of the property placement made it right were all the shopping and fun spots that the historic district had to offer. Thank you for taking care of our needs, to all the staff at the Hoyt House. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that likes quiet little getaway in a bustling...
