'We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!'

'This is a cute place right on the river. Very clean, great location, kitchen was well stocked with nice plates and pans. Beds were comfortable. We loved the covered back porch overlooking the river. Very relaxing place!'

'This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We have a "guys weekend" every year to just unplug from life for a couple days. This was a central location between Columbus, Cleveland and Akron where we were traveling from, and very easy to find. We comfortably slept 8 adults, had enough room in the living space/kitchen to gather and loved spending the day by the water and nights around the fire. Definitely recommend!'

'First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. It was well furnished with plenty of towels, wash clothes, kitchen utensils, coffee and tea, snacks, condiments, cookies and fresh flowers. 'Close to the parks for hiking, biking, tubing/canoing, fishing for exploaration. The lodge, itself has better amenities than a hotel. Even if it is rainy, there is plenty of space to unwind with the family under the covered patio. A multitude of different games to choose from so everyone in the family can find something they like. 'Clean & Comfortable'

'We spent the weekend on a ski trip at snow trails. The home is located about 8 minutes from the slopes, so it was a great location. Emma was very responsive to questions, and the home was very clean and tidy. Watching the snow out of the back window over the field was a good way to start the morning. Emma even went out of her way to provide a bottle of sparkling grape juice and chips for the kids. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for the great experience Emma'

'My mom and sisters spent a relaxing weekend here to celebrate mom’s 60 th birthday. Overall it was nice, beds were comfortable, and the communication with the owners was great! The only reason for 4 stars is, I think it could use a deep clean, however it wasn’t filthy, and I would recommend it.'

'We booked this lovely little home for our anniversary weekend. We have been so busy that we just wanted to go somewhere and spend time together, however we saw fit. We love the Mohican area and this was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some time by a fire, in a hot tub, down on the river floating the day away, and cozying up on the couch before bed while watching a favorite movie! 'Cannot believe how amazing this property was. The owners were super quick to respond to all my questions. The pond in the front is so relaxing to sit in front of and that sun room was so peaceful. Very clean and safe. Just be aware: it's a dirt road and when they say secluded, they mean it- cell service may not work. Overall 10/10, would stay again!'
