Good stay, kind staff
Very kind and helpful staff. We liked to hang in the couches in the lobby, enjoying a drink. The hotel is within walking distance of the railway station and the bus station (to Taroko National Park). The Hualien night market is about 2km away, but with the hotel's bicycles this is a short ride.

Close to train station with walking distance. Staffs are friendly. I like that they provide hot and cold water for free to refill. Good experience. They allow us store our luggages in the storage for haft day after check out.

Really enjoyed our stay at Meci Hotel. Excellent location near the train station. Great breakfast place next door. Rooms very clean. Coffee and snacks available in the spacious lobby. They helped us organize an excellent driver for our day in Taroko gorge. Accommodated us as we travleee with a baby. Very responsive !

Abgenutzte Substanz aber kostenlose Extras
Das Hotel bietet viele kostenlose Extras (Snacks und Kaffee in der Lobby, Fahrradverleih). Allerdings war die Einrichtung in unserem Zimmer abgenutzt, das Bett hat nur dann nicht gewackelt wenn man etwas unter gelegt hat, aber das größte Problem war der defekte Abzug im Bad, weshalb das gesamte Zimmer muffig roch und klamm war. Das Personal an der Rezeption konnte zwar nicht den Abzug in Stand setzen, hat uns aber einen Gerät zur Luftentfeuchtung ins Zimmer gestellt. Das hat das Problem gelöst und das Raumklima stark verbessert. Insgesamt also ein Aufenthalt mit guten und schlechten Aspekte

千萬不要來住這裡...Avoid at all cost!
很不舒服，很舊，很髒的飯店，所有設備都很舊，濕氣非常重。 一進第一間房間就聞到超級重的霉味，抬頭一看冷氣出風口附近的天花板都已經發霉，馬上又拖著行李退出並回到大廳要求換房。在大廳的櫃檯人員不太理會也不太驚訝的就默默幫我們換房。 到第二間房間後還是濕氣非常重，光是坐在床上大腿就會明顯感到濕濕的，連牆上壁紙都因為濕氣已經都掀起來了，房間裡竟然是用最便宜粗糙的那種辦公室拼貼地毯，也有可怕的污漬，跟櫃台反應想再換房，工作人員又不以為意的說每間都這樣，並從櫃檯後面推出除濕機，就在櫃檯後面感覺是滿常被要求出場的機器。 我們在這裡睡了三個晚上，每天都能除兩大桶的水，每天都在跟這可怕的地毯玩地板是岩漿的遊戲，每天出去觀光完都很不想回到這個像沼澤一樣的地方。

Wonderful stay at Meci Hotel
The hotel is a 7-min walk from Hualien train station. Hotel room was a tad small but all the facilities were well-kept and organised. Love the amenities in and around the hotel. There is free flow snacks (biscuits, crackers and sweets) and drinks (coffee, tea, soft drinks and iced tea). Hish speed wifi in the lobby and room. Bicycles for rent free. Washing and drying of clothes at a fee. There is a breakfast shop just beside the hotel (closed on Sundays) and it is amazing! Other food options are very nearby too (Tasty steak next door and neighbourhood eateries near the train station). If you want to get a cab, Uber does not work in Hualien and Yilan, download 呼叫小黄 (find taxi) instead.
