'The facilities at Nirú are top notch, I believe the photos online don’t actually do it justice. The upstairs pool was always quiet, with very friendly and attentive bartending/waiting staff! The beach club pool and beach area are much busier with people from their other hotel in Santa Cruz and also day pass users, but we were always able to get some loungers regardless. The hotel is located right in Santa Cruz making it super convenient to walk around and walk/taxi to La Crucecita. The food is...

'The room was spotlessly clean. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds fly overhead and the morning scent from the forest was great. We spent at least a couple of hours at the pool each day and enjoyed lunch and drinks there. There are about 125 steps to go down to the pool or beach but the hotel will call a shuttle take you back up to your room. Staff was excellent.'

'The restaurant at the hotel is amazing. Great view and best food we tried in the region. The hotel is clean and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay. Would recommend if you’re visiting Huatulco. It’s walking distance to Playa Arrocito, however a taxi ride of 10 mins will be required to get to the city center Crucesita area as well as other playas in the area.'

'Really enjoyed it. Have a great time. However, it was advertised that there was four restaurants – the seafood restaurant was not open the entire three weeks we were there. We do not eat sushi. Totally unhappy about that. That left us with only two restaurants and buffet – so for variety we had to go out to restaurants which added to our costs. Advertise four restaurants only give you three – false advertising.'

Wished the mattresses were more comfortable… but that is hard to come by in Mexico. Location was amazing!!! Wonderful restaurants so close by!! Found the best breakfast the very last day right next door! The ocean was warm and refreshing every day!!! Definitely loved our stay!!!!!'
