'The Laurel Inn is up in Laurel Heights, away from the tourist/hotel concentration down by the Ferry Building. For us this was a big plus. The motel is comfortable, public transport is right outside the front door - and Muni is a great way to get around - plus there's a shopping strip just two blocks away on California St. A nice place all around.'

'The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. It reminded me of a very nice hostel. The only downside is the street noise from cars and partyers on the street. Ear plugs help.'

'This was a percent location for a single male traveling for photography, site seeing and food. The access to every type of mass transit right at the door step was cherry on top. My room was quiet and clean. While the room temperatures did swing throughout my visit, I was never uncomfortable due to warm blankets and a bed side fan being provided. The staff were also very friendly. '

'We arrived in the hotel with a bit of a problem, as our luggage was lost on our way to San Francisco. The hotel manager, Steve, was incredibly helpful and kind to us. He even offered us his phone so we could call the airline. The hotel itself is OK. The room is quite small and the bathroom facilities are to be shared with other guests. Everything was clean and tidy however. We didn’t experience any noise or trouble. The only downside is the location of the hotel, as it’s right in the center of...

'Mission is een leuke, levendige wijk. Er zijn wel veel zwervers en het is vaak vies op straat. Het hotel heeft kleine kamers die best een opknap- en schoonmaakbeurt kunnen gebruiken. De bedden zijn wel goed en het personeel is behulpzaam. Betaalbaar in vergelijking met andere hotels in de buurt. '
