'It’s a beautiful, modern room. Quiet and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. '

'Room was clean, updated, and spacious. The outside does not match to updated interior…..don’t let it put you off. We checked in at 3pm on a Sunday so we had easy parking in their lot. I’m sure that’s trickier at other times. Sidenote: we got food delivered from Extreme Pizza, highly recommend.'

'We enjoyed our stay at casa loma. The accommodation is in a older building. So you can hear everybody moving talking etc. Not a big problem for us. And the room was very small. But it was clean. Bed was good too. The receptionist lady was very kind. And helped us out a lot of times. So if you are in San Francisco and Need a good place to stay casa loma is recommended'

'The room qualitied and amenities were above what I would have expected for a hotel at this price point. Enjoyed my stay. My room was on Gough street so it was a little noisy but with the windows closed it was no big deal.'

'Our first experience with a shared bathroom was good. Everything was super clean. The location is also nice with good metro/bus connections to the main sightseeings and several nice places to eat around.'

'The room and facilities were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. It reminded me of a very nice hostel. The only downside is the street noise from cars and partyers on the street. Ear plugs help.'

'This was a percent location for a single male traveling for photography, site seeing and food. The access to every type of mass transit right at the door step was cherry on top. My room was quiet and clean. While the room temperatures did swing throughout my visit, I was never uncomfortable due to warm blankets and a bed side fan being provided. The staff were also very friendly. '

'We arrived in the hotel with a bit of a problem, as our luggage was lost on our way to San Francisco. The hotel manager, Steve, was incredibly helpful and kind to us. He even offered us his phone so we could call the airline. The hotel itself is OK. The room is quite small and the bathroom facilities are to be shared with other guests. Everything was clean and tidy however. We didn’t experience any noise or trouble. The only downside is the location of the hotel, as it’s right in the center of...

'The Laurel Inn is up in Laurel Heights, away from the tourist/hotel concentration down by the Ferry Building. For us this was a big plus. The motel is comfortable, public transport is right outside the front door - and Muni is a great way to get around - plus there's a shopping strip just two blocks away on California St. A nice place all around.'
