When arriving I was confused between a key lock mounted outside the door and the integrated handle lock on the door. A quick call to the owner cleared up the confusion. The integrated lock takes some getting used to and can be a bit finicky to operate at times. We ate out mostly so didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything anyone would need. 'This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We are giving five stars because of the property. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. 'Great location just off Rte 100 in Stowe. Well equipped kitchen with extras like spices and some oil, foil etc. Beds were comfortable. Smart TV was on the smaller side but worked well. We would stay here again due to the location right next to the Stowe recreation path which puts you close to restaurants and stores in town.'

'Really nice space at an affordable price. Kitchen and game room were awesome, check-in/out super easy. Longer drive to Stowe than we thought because Smuggler's Notch was closed. Master bedroom shower faucet was out but hopefully that's been fixed.'

'My wife and I loved being here. It was a fantastic location and we enjoyed sunsets and people, boat, and birdwatching. The beds were super comfortable and it was very restful to sleep with the windows open and hear the birds chirping. The description is a little over the top with the 'sprawling back yard' and 'two-level patio' and 'sandy beach' - the yard and outdoor space are fine, if a little worse for wear. The property's beach is rocks, which again is fine, and you can walk down the beach...

Great recommendations from the hosts for restaurants and hiking in the area. We loved the move theater - and had a great night going to the drive-in movies a few miles down the road!
