'The Casa Del Chiodo was the perfect Tuscan B&B experience for us. From the moment Marco greeted us to the amazing multiple course evening meal that owner/chef Paola prepared to the breakfast served by Irene, it was the epitome of Italian hospitality. While the evening meal was extra, it was definitely worth it as it showcased local farm grown and hunted/gathered foods (such as mushrooms, venison and roasted chestnuts). Our room was clean, true to historical construction with modern amenities....

'Helaas onderbemand.

Rustige omgeving. Voor ons prima op doorreis. '

'Zeer vriendelijke personeel en zeer aangename groene omgeving. Ook lekker gegeten!'

'Great hotelbuilding, on a top location! BUT: food & drinks in the hotel are very overpriced (for exemple: 12 EUR for a Coca Cola - 32 EUR for a Spritz - 265 EUR for +/- 1,2 kg of BBQ-meat (that was also cold!) and so on… You also have to know that the pool-watertemperature is about 36 degrees … hot… For the rest: great experience!'

'Super! Everything was amazing! The room, the spa, the dinner, the swimming-pool, the breakfast, every small details. Excellent service... and everything is nice and clean.'

'Chambre propre et confortable avec une belle terrasse Petit dejeuner très bien Localisation parfaite pour visiter San Gimigiano avec la possibilité d y aller à pied en 30 min via un sentier'

'We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is beautiful and lies in beautiful surroundings. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The organised dinners at the hotel were very very good. Sometimes better than nearby restaurants. It was delicious!! Of course, the wines are great too, with the rosé wines as my favourite. My only points of feedback would be that it would be nice that the bar next to the pool is open more hours (as of our stay, it was only open for 1hour between 7...

'Very nice relaxing place with beautiful view on Siena and Tuscan landscapes. Restaurant of the hotel was really good, food and prices. There are 2 pools, one dedicated to kids so adults can relax at the other pool. The bar was very nice too with a friendly bartender who introduced us to the typical cantucci cookies from Siena.'

'Immerso nel bosco delle colline senesi. Camere pulite e relax garantito. Piscina per il periodo estivo e tanti percorsi per immergersi nella natura. Staff simpatico, cordiale e sempre disponibile. Ottima la colazione e pure il servizio ristorante alla sera'

'Een prachtig verblijf!'

'Hotel San Lino is a very historical place to stay in Volterra. It has a magical view and a cosy swimming pool. The building is from 1480 and has a rich history. Its located within the walls of Volterra and is a very nice place to stay. The people working there a very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with breakfast. If you like a sweet breakfast, then you in the right place. For me personally the breakfast could have been less basic. I did like the juice, it was very tasty. Thank you so...
