'I can't say enough positive things about The Beachcomber - and Beverly. I just wish we'd had a little more time to stay there! Lubbock was a quick roadtrip layover on our (me, daughter and granddaughter) way to Austin, but we'll definitely spend more time next time. Great neighborhood, great property - and great host! Absolutely whole-heartedly recommend The Beachcomber!'

'From the pictures on the site, I was expecting a secluded large ranch style property with a creek to fish in. The house sits right on the road, neighbors close by. If you want to stay indoors it’s a beautiful house but there is nothing to do outdoors because it was to hot for a campfire for s’mores. Maybe I just had my heart set on a cool creek for fishing. This isn’t on the property and has to be set up ahead of time on a different property.'

'We were very surprised by the high ratings and “exceptional” descriptions in the listing. They were responsive to our messages and check in was easy, but we would not stay at this place again.
The photos were accurate but the apartment could use some sprucing up (ie, paint, chipped tiles, etc). We had a toilet that didn’t flush properly, and was a continued problem throughout the night.
The only a/c unit (located in the bedroom) wasn’t sufficient for cooling down the entire place, or even...
