'This self-acclaimed hotel closed a year ago in a totally run-down state. Some four months ago it was bought by a new (US citizen) owner who is trying to rebuild the place. Currently there is one room that looks quite okay, however there is no reception, no personnel apart from a local housekeeper. The problem starts with the entrance. 'This boutique hotel is a really nice South American historic looking hotel. what we love the most was the gardening feel and the pool, but the service for breakfast and happy staff all around, make it also a real feel. Rooms are very spacious and we felt very safe even though the neighborhood is not per se the nicest.. we did always drive into Granada at night, but at daytime we also walked. '
