'The hotel is part of a repurposing of a historic building, and if lovely. The renovation is well-appointed taste tasteful and well-maintained the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The associated restaurant (Dram Yard) was marvelous, with exquisite food offering and a staff that was a joy to deal with. Location was convenient to downtown Wilmington. 'Just came off a 5 night trip where we stayed in 3 different Homewood Suites properties in different cities and this one was the best. However, it still had its issues. I was given a studio suite when I payed for and booked a true suite with a separate bedroom. They then sent me to THREE (3) different rooms and it was still a studio suite every time. 'The check-in person was great, it was midnight before we got there and he got us checked in right away. The room was great.'

'Great healthy breakfast, freshly made every morning. Beautiful boutique hotel with cool interior on great location'

'The first time that I stayed at this hotel last year, everything was excellent. This time when I stayed for most of our stay, the water in the bathroom was not even hot. It was barely lukewarm. I told the staff member about the water not being hot, and she told me that maintenance left at twelve. Noon, on a saturday of all days. I don't know if I will use this hotel again. Cause no one likes to take a cold shower when it is cool outside.'

'Great stat'

'Really nice beach hotel. I stayed there for a conference. Burger is good in restaurant and the coffee is good at the snack shop. Very very nice staff and it is very clean. I felt the beds were comfortable the only draw back was the water pressure in the shower.'

'Clean and right on the beach. Helpful staff.'

'Everyone was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good; however, could have been better if there were pastries and actual scrambled eggs.'

'Super clean property, great rooms and way friendly staff, recommended !'
