'The host, Jodee, was quick to respond and very helpful. Don't pass this place up! Fully stocked house with: electricity, inside bath, outdoor shower and the land with the stream don't miss this, bring your pole. We absolutely loved it. Very peaceful. '

'Quaint property overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway and easy access to downtown Galax. The house has all the necessities -- well-stocked kitchen, comfortable decks, clean bathrooms, plenty of living space. Especially enjoyed star-gazing in the front yard and hearing all the birds and other wildlife each morning and evening. Lovely space.'

'The place was very cozy , we had a little trouble finding the place , but Mr Parker help us and the communication. Was excellent . There was coffee and a few snacks tomorrow surprise. The place was very clean, the bed was super comfortable. Thank you for a very nice stay . We will definitely be back. '

'Very clean space (in nature and I didn't even see a bug inside) impressive woodwork and nice amenities including a hot tub. Very cozy, great place for a stay while maybe hitting a local trail and/or staying in and listening to the rain with a book. Also had coffee from a local roaster, fresh bag of whole bean too!! Little thoughtful things are wonderful '

'AWESOME! The Quilting Nest is a true home away from home. Upon entry, you are overwhelmed with beautiful handmade masterpiece quilts and eye-catching décor vignettes everywhere. A mix of kitsch, folk, and modern blend to immediately bring a smile. The kitchen coffee/ tea station was well stocked and offered a variety of blends. 'Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia.'
