'We had a really nice stay at Thistle House Guest House. We received a very warm welcome by Sue and her sister in law. The house itself is well maintained and breakfast was plenty and delicious. Can only recommend, especially if you are looking for somewhere quite with a great view. '

'The property was as represented, and the view from the windows was itself worth the stay! Good breakfast basket delivered in the morning, nespresso machine, modern clean room and bathroom, bus stop very close and Connell Ferry train station 10-15 minutes walk.'

'I stayed here for two nights by myself.
The guy who owns the place is friendly and put on a nice continental breakfast (salmon, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and brewed coffee). The bed was comfortable too.
The building and furniture are pretty dated though and in need of upgrading. My room door lock was also temperamental. However, that said it was clean overall and the host mentioned he’s actively renovating, which is good to hear as it’s got potential to be a beautiful building...
