'We experienced an awesome 8 night stay at this cabin, which is quite cozy and had everything we needed. The location is superb, on the Michigamme River, and with many small, beautiful lakes within a very short drive. We fished as much as possible during the week, and host Ken was most gracious with recommendations and maps to various nearby lakes and rivers for us to try. 'Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!'

'Beautiful view of the lake, easy access to the water and they let me dock my boat at their dock. Didn't understand from the listing that the third bedroom is in the bunkhouse but that didn't matter too much. Nice cozy stay.'

'Lots to do here on the property. Bill was great to work with. They gave us their well-stocked home for a wonderfully relaxing week. And very clean! The only possible downer for someone is if you are looking for a beach for kids to play in the sand, there really isn't one (hence the 4-star on listing accuracy). Wasn't an issue for us though. Would definitely recommend this owner and property!'

'Owner is a great guy. He responded to text right a way. Every thing was great. I had only one minor issue the driveway is grass and wasn't mowed. My feet got wet coming and going. I will use this properly again. '
