'I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good.'

'Een prachtige plek. Maar het is back to basic. In de avond niks te doen, geen barretje om aan te zitten. Strandbars alleen open op tijden van de dagjes mensen(10-15 uur), geen snacks verkrijgbaar. Menu kaart erg beperkt. Wij hadden de pech dat we last van onze darmen hadden. Helaas als lunch enkel warm eten. Geen sandwich of zo. Ontbijt 2 keuzes: Continentel, brood zonder beleg met fruit, juice. American, brood, ei, fruit, juice.'

'Een aanrader ! Mooi gelegen accommodatie met maar 3 kamers. Allemaal met uitzicht op de zee. Rustig gelegen maar je kan last hebben van dagtoeristen die bij de naastgelegen hotels komen. Heeft ons niet gestoord zijn na 15.00 allemaal weer weg. Buitendouche met koud water. Even wennen. Gezamenlijke buitenruimte was mooi. Wifi was redelijk tot goed. Personeel was super vriendelijk maar spreekt alleen spaans. Gelukkig bestaan er vertaalapps. Ontbijt eenvoudig . Lena kan 's avonds op verzoek koken....

'I really loved this stay! The island was very nice, I loved being able to immerse myself in nature. I saw wild parrots too! The island is very walkable, and there is a little store next door with sodas and chips, which we enjoyed. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the outdoor hammock. The dogs were super friendly and so were the cats! The fan was enough to keep us cool, and the shower was great for if you get hot. 'We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. The restaurant chef whipped up delicious local favorites, made to order, and the piña coladas were nice and cold! The hotel was still in the process of renovating during our stay, so I expect that...

'Posto poco curato, trasandato e molto spartano. Prezzi molto alti per la qualità offerta. C’è un molo d’attracco ma non un vero posto dove fare il bagno. Sconsigliato.'

'This hotel needs to do better. The AC in my room wasn’t working properly and the restaurant did not have at least 50% of the items of the menu. We left one day before, because we needed to fully enjoy our time of vacation. Perhaps, not only for this hotel, but for all the hotels in las Islas del Rosario, the transportation is a scary ride, way too many people in the boats.'

'After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist. Given boats run only until 9am and transport can cost as much as two nights’ stay, this should be clearly stated before booking – we could easily have missed the first night.
