During the day, afternoon and evening it is safe enough to walk to the centre but only at night it is advisable to take a taxi.

'We really loved our stay at Casa Moraira. The rooms are spacious and the decorations are beautiful. The small pool and hammock were perfect to take a nap in the afternoon heat. The homemade breakfasts were amazing, you felt like you were eating at home, very cozy. The location in the heart of Getsemaní was perfect as well. My only suggestion would be to make the bathrooms a bit bigger and decorate them as beautiful as the rest of the house!'

"The bed was comfortable, the people who work there could be more friendly. What I didn’t like is when my friend wanted to visit me they wanted me to pay. I will never stay there again."
"We enjoyed this hotel a lot! Beautiful pool, very friendly staff and good breakfast.
We booked a room with clublounge access and this was the only part that could be better. The (sparkling) wines were very sweet and did not taste good. The food offering in the evening was very limited, but the quality was decent. They also have cocktails, but they did not advertise that you have to make them yourself. After some help from chatGPT we found some nice combinations with the drinks that were on offer. But we would not choose clublounge again here. Was kind of an disappointment.
The rest (room, breakfast, service, pool) was perfect!"

"Hotel is very conveniently situated in the old city of Cartagena. It’s and old convent that has been transformed into a hotel. For Colombia it’s an extremely expensive hotel but it’s a nice experience to be pampered and well looked after. Room was nice and comfortable, although the hotel and rooms show some signs of wear and tear. So the hotel management shouldn’t forget to continue to invest in maintenance.
