'Very pleasant hotel, kind staff, nice small pool, silent, centrally located in old toen'

'Hotel is very conveniently situated in the old city of Cartagena. It’s and old convent that has been transformed into a hotel. For Colombia it’s an extremely expensive hotel but it’s a nice experience to be pampered and well looked after. Room was nice and comfortable, although the hotel and rooms show some signs of wear and tear. So the hotel management shouldn’t forget to continue to invest in maintenance. But in summary: we had a great stay.'

'Heel leuk hotel op prima locatie. Lekker ruime en schone kamer met heerlijk bed. Prachtig dakterras met twee kleine dompelbadjes. Niet echt geschikt om bij te gaan liggen en relaxen. Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het enige nadeel was dat tijdens ons verblijf er verbouwd werd in een gebouw naast het hotel. Tussen 08.00 en 17.00 was er een oorverdovend lawaai van gehak en drilboor. '

'The property and staff were fantastic. The only reason for a 4 star on the property condition is that they were presently doing some maintenance on the property but that didn't get in our way. The staff was excellent and friendly, gave us tips on where to go and provided a laundry service for us. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again. '

'Hotel Bantu was a fabulous home base for our visit to Cartagena! The staff provided a friendly welcome, and I appreciated their ability to speak with me in English and assist with local recommendations. The property is beautiful and inviting (as well as safe!), including a lovely daily breakfast and a comfortable, air conditioned room. The location was fabulous, walkable to key locations and many restaurant options nearby. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Bantu. '

'Room was impecable, great size. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was very good with great presentation. The hotel is not the quietest of places, but it has good windows to avoid noise. Beautiful views from the room and a bathtub!!'
