'Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family. '

'staff is very nice and helpful, location is good, with 10 min walk you are in the old center. shopping center 15 meters away. the san felipe castle is opposite the hotel. During the day, afternoon and evening it is safe enough to walk to the centre but only at night it is advisable to take a taxi. i was hesitant to book this hotel. but now that i have been there. i am glad i booked this hotel. '

'Hotel is very conveniently situated in the old city of Cartagena. It’s and old convent that has been transformed into a hotel. For Colombia it’s an extremely expensive hotel but it’s a nice experience to be pampered and well looked after. Room was nice and comfortable, although the hotel and rooms show some signs of wear and tear. So the hotel management shouldn’t forget to continue to invest in maintenance. But in summary: we had a great stay.'

'Quedé encantada con Mood Matuna, y Cartagena entera. El hotel es céntrico caminando puedes llegar a Getsemaní o el centro. La habitación es súper espaciosa, cómoda, limpia y en perfectas condiciones. Agradezco que teníamos prime y Netflix. Y siempre que volvíamos cansados de nuestros paseos encontrábamos la habitación limpia y fresca. Los desayunos son buenísimos y el personal muy servicial y amable. Gracias por hacer de nuestra estancia muy agradable. Volvería en otra ocasión y la recomiendo...

'Heel leuk hotel op prima locatie. Lekker ruime en schone kamer met heerlijk bed. Prachtig dakterras met twee kleine dompelbadjes. Niet echt geschikt om bij te gaan liggen en relaxen. Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het enige nadeel was dat tijdens ons verblijf er verbouwd werd in een gebouw naast het hotel. Tussen 08.00 en 17.00 was er een oorverdovend lawaai van gehak en drilboor. '

'The only thing that they lacked is the fact that its a VIP accommodation but there are not VIP upgrades. I got there at 10am and the receptionist didn’t attend to my request saying the room wasn’t available. I checked the night before to see if i can book it and it was available. Therefore, my Expedia reservation and status wasn’t recognized by the hotel. Ismael, Gerson and Francisco the reception were very welcoming and helpful. The location is good if you want to walk around the city center. '
