'The hotel was clean and staff were very attentive. The free activities (bikes, kayak, paddle boards) were easy to use as the cove allowed for privacy from boats passing by. The food options were delicious. The free breakfast gave a mix of continental options and Colombian options. We would definitely stay there again.'

'We were honored to be the first guests after Isla Azul’s reopening under new management. The hotel manager Pedro is exceptionally friendly and customer-focused. He and his team were a highlight of our stay. He coordinated awe-inspiring snorkeling and phytoplankton tours with an experienced local guide. 'After booking, we repeatedly messaged the hotel for directions and only got a reply at 7:55am on check-in day, telling us the only boat left Cartagena at 8:15am. No way to make it. They then sent a contact for a 9am boat costing 90k + 30k port tax, though cheaper 70k options exist.
