'Beautiful property with an incredible view. The driveway is not for the faint-hearted, ensure you have a 4x4 capable vehicle and avoid coming after dark for your first night. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to make a couple meals at home. Our host Carlos was a extremely attentive and helpful throughout the stay. Would definitely come back some day!'

'The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. 'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...

'We absolutely LOVED our stay at Nya. From driving up to the beautiful property, we were hooked. When we met our first staff member who checked us in, and the server who provided a welcome cava, along with all the other Nya faces, we knew this was going to be special. We were not wrong. From the beautiful beach and stunning trail along the water, the excellent food, abundant wildlife, and wonderful accommodations, Nya never disappointed. We only wish we had a longer stay!'

'Staff was friendly and eager to help. Area was slummy but luckily the hotel has a gated area for parking. Building is old and needs updating badly, but staff tried to make it as welcoming as possible. Walls and ceiling in the rooms were gross and bathrooms are in bad shape. Worst part was no hot water. Best part is that beds were clean.'

'Beautiful location, with beautiful swimmingpool with view over the Ocean, Ara's and whales. Friendly employees (95%), but for a 5star expected I more... For my Birthday I got a special dessert. Massage was nice with the sounds of the Ara's and ocean at the background. Spacy room and good beds. At sealevel an extra place to stay. I can recommend this hotel!'

'Leuk kleinschalig hotel middenin Montezuma. Als je de straat over steekt, sta je zo op het strand. Restaurantjes liggen letterlijk om de hoek. Grote kamers met koelkastje en AC. Hangmat voor iedere deur. Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker zwembad met genoeg ligbedjes. Gratis thee en koffie en snacks bij receptie af te halen. Het enige nadeel is dat de kamers in het houten gedeelte heel gehorig zijn. Je kunt elkaar letterlijk verstaan. Wij hadden overall geluk met buren die zachtjes praatten. Verder...
