Welkom bij 23 Beach Club Villas!

Dit prachtige stadshuis aan de oceaan bevindt zich in het omheinde resort Wild Dunes in een van onze meest gevraagde villagemeenschappen.  Het beschikt over drie ruime slaapkamers, hardhouten vloeren, gerenoveerde keuken en badkamers, complexe toegang tot het zwembad en een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan.  Stap uit bij de charmante afgeschermde veranda en loop naar het strand!

De eerste verdieping van de villa heeft open woon- en eetgedeeltes.  De opgewaardeerde keuken heeft een uitgebreid centraal eiland met granieten aanrecht en moderne roestvrijstalen apparaten.  Er is plaats voor 8 personen aan de hoge eettafel.  U vindt veel ruimte in de woonkamer om te ontspannen of tijd door te brengen met vrienden en familie.  Misschien is de meest populaire eigenschap van de villa, die toegankelijk is net buiten de woonkamer, is de afgeschermde veranda, die een ongelooflijke uitzicht op de oceaan heeft.  Geniet van een maaltijd op de veranda aan de glazen eettafel met 5 zitplaatsen of praat een wandelingetje over de achtertrap en loop direct naar het toegangspad aan het strand of het gemeenschappelijke zwembad.  De eerste van drie slaapkamers bevindt zich ook op dit hoofdniveau.  Het beschikt over 2 queensize bedden, een tv en een semi-privébadkamer.

Via de trap naar de tweede verdieping vindt u de overige twee slaapkamers.  De ruime slaapkamer beschikt over een comfortabel kingsize bed, een tv, een eigen badkamer en een groot privéterras met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan.  De 3e slaapkamer is perfect voor kinderen en heeft een stapelbed voor 2 personen, een tv en een eigen badkamer.  Voor het gemak, de wasmachine en droger op dit niveau ook.

Er zijn een aantal voorzieningen om te genieten bij het huren in Wild Dunes Resort, waaronder 2 championship golfbanen, een tennisfaciliteit van wereldklasse, fietsverhuur, mijlen van natuurpaden, lokale restaurants, een salon met spadiensten en meer!

Classic Family Beach Trip

Highlights: - Location, location, location! Wild Dunes is as beautiful as it has always been and this beachfront condo was great for our family beach trip with 5 adults. - Bedding arrangements were perfect for our needs (adult children bringing friends) - Sweetgrass Properties communication and responsiveness were fantastic. Opportunities: - The condo furnishings and decor show some age and wear but are certainly still functional. - At this price point (albeit a premium for July 4th week), I expected nicer / matching dishes, flatware, pots/pans, and kitchen tools. - Would be great to have some beach chairs and toys available for guests.

Excellent Location, Unit Needs Updating

The location of this property is ideal. Within eye shot and ear shot of the pool (great to keep an eye on kids). Beautiful views of the beach. Easy, quick access to the beach. The condo itself honestly fell short of my family's expectations. The fridge / freezer does not work properly. We were told to give it 48 hours to "cool down." It took more like 72 hours, and it still wasn't cold enough. We constantly had to sniff food before eating to make sure it hadn't gone bad (and a lot did go bad). The owners need to buy a new fridge. The dishwater pools water in the bottom of the machine. The aspect ratio on all the bedroom TVs is off, so the picture doesn't fit the screen, making it frustrating to watch. There is a weird two-way mirror between the master bathroom and the bedroom (like the kind you see in police interviews), which made no sense and seemed like a cheap fix to a hole in the wall. Overall, the condo needs fresh paint and some sprucing up. It feels a little tired and looks a little dirty. We've stayed in Wild Dunes properties for about 10 years now, and while the location for this property was lovely, the property itself needs some attention.

Perfect spot

The condo was perfect since we had the 4 and 7 year old grandkids! They could go outside from the screen porch and head for the pool or beach. We loved not having to get into an elevator to go have fun. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, utensils. We didn't have to run the dishwasher after each meal! Great to have full size washer and dryer rather than a stacked version. Grandkids loved playing on the top bunk. The area is nice and quiet, and since there aren't high rise condos on Isle of Palms the beach was never crowded. I'd recommend IOP and Beach Club Villas to anyone visiting Charleston. It's a good base to head into the city

Wonderful location

We had a wonderful vacation in Wild Dunes. The property was located in an excellent location. It was oceanfront, close to the pool and beach. The rental was clean and spacious. The only suggestion that I would have is to replace the master bed as it was uncomfortable.

Great Property Location

Loved the location and ease of access to the pool or beach just beyond the pool! Check in being so late (after 4pm) is rough for a vacation and the mattress we slept on was well worn so it sank in the middle. Overall those were the only (very minor) items that were less than five stars. Compared to the amazing location and spacious area in this unit they are easily outweighed by the positives. We would absolutely stay here again!

Spring Break

Perfect spot for our family. We enjoyed the beach, bike rentals, trips into Charleston and Sullivan’s Island, and walking up to Heuys for a drink on the back patio looking over the golf course.

Great location but a bit tired and in need of an update

The condo's location is fantastic and the view from the porches is lovely. The building is older and the interiors are dated and need refreshing. The downstairs is a bit dark and some additional lamps would be helpful. I wish the company had explained the pool was closed (rather than rely on the blanket disclaimer about COVID). While we were there a cement truck and crew worked for two days on cleaning and resurfacing the pool. It was so loud we could not enjoy the porches and had to close the doors. If you stay more than a couple of days, you will need to provide all your own cleaning supplies, etc. as they provide very little.

Great time at IOP

My family and I had never been to Isle of Palms before this trip. We selected both the location and property on a whim. We could not have been luckier in our selection of both. The Isle of Palms is an amazing location with great restaurants and activities for a family. The pristine beaches and island were great to relax on. The property and the entire Wild Dunes resort were amazing. The property was perfect for a family with easy access to the pool and beach. We had views of both the pool and beach from both the screened porch and 2nd floor balcony. Highly recommend this location, we will be back!

Beautiful place!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, beautiful views!!! We did have an issue with the air conditioning. The air downstairs was broken. It stopped working The first night of our trip. We called the emergency number and they sent someone out very quickly to fix the problem. However around midnight it smelled like an electrical fire all through the downstairs and there was a burning smell. We called but were told that someone could come the next day but that our only option that night was to call 911 if we saw open flames. We cut the air off due to the concerns with the smell and left it off all night, which made the downstairs very warm through the 2nd night and bc we worried about the possibility of an electrical fire. We enjoyed our stay but the issues with the air was a very big concern.
