Dit comfortabele huis is uitgerust met bijna alles wat u nodig heeft om op het strand te verblijven. De 1e verdieping is een open plattegrond met keuken, den en 1/2 badkamer. Een gescreend veranda met tafel perfect voor het vangen van zeewind. Terug vindt u het privé zwembad, dit is verwarmbaar met een toeslag voor propaan, zwembad en speeltoestel, ligstoelen, grill. De 2e verdieping heeft 3 slaapkamers en 2 volledige badkamers. Op de 2e verdieping: Master BR King heeft een eigen balkon met uitzicht op de oceaan, een bubbelbad en een grote tv / dvd / videorecorder. Andere 2 BR's zijn allebei koningin en 1 van hen heeft een wieg erin. De 3e verdieping loft heeft een queensize bed en 2 tweelingen, ck slaapkamer kasten voor pack-n-play, TV / DVD. Bovendien is het huis ongeveer. 50 m van het strand - strandtoegang snel. (Mooi, schoon / familiestrand.) Loop 2-3 blokken naar het noorden en je bent bij het strandrestaurant aan de voorkant! Als u op zoek bent om te vissen, kunt u vissen vanaf Breech Inlet Bridge (4 blokken verderop) of onze Dock in de buurt. Lange vissteiger bij Mt. Aangenaam park aan het water - er is een kleine vergoeding om daar te vissen. Zet uw boot / jetski's in op de Isle of Palms Marina - 5 minuten afstand. Ga bij Marina naar Morgan's Creek Bar & Grill en geniet van het uitzicht. Twee golfbanen van wereldklasse liggen op een paar kilometer afstand. weg bij Wild Dunes Resort. Er zijn tal van activiteiten in en rond het gebied - winkelen, dineren, kunst, historische binnenstad van Charleston, de markt, vis charters, festivals, waterparken, geweldige restaurants, enz. My daughter and her husband had a wedding to attend and I was going to babysit for them so I booked this vrbo for me and all my children who range in ages. I'm 50, 31 yo daughter, 26 yo daughter her husband and 5 mo old, 23 yo daughter and 22 yo son. The space was perfect. We each had our own beds, private rooms except 2 girls shared a room but had separate beds. We had a private pool, with close access to the beach within walking distance, and food and entertainment also in walking distance. We had a great stay and a great vacation. The host was very cooperative and we were able to check-in early. There were plenty of amenities including a kayak, boogie boards, rafts for the pool, games, and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend to anyone who wants or needs to travel. Charleston and Isle of Palms were great destinations and we all agreed we would love to go back and didn't want to leave!! If you have a large group and an infant this is the perfect place to stay as there is plenty to do on the property while the little ones nap or just need out of the sun!! Will hopefully do this trip again as the space was beautiful and so enjoyable for all. (I tried to post photos, but that part wasn't working.) Just know we got amazing pictures as well!!

Had a wonderful weekend getaway with girlfriends at this beach house! Home very comfortably fit 10 sleepers. Five minute walk to beautiful beach. Great outdoor area to hang by the pool. Living room provided ample space for everyone to congregate. Multiple large tables to enjoy meals and play games.

My brother and I stayed here with our families and 2 dogs in July 2024 and had a terrific time. We found the property overall well maintained and it looked very much like the photos. James was friendly and communicative by phone and text. The location is excellent, away from most crowded section of beach but within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Waterfall in pool is a nice touch!

Short getaway for all of our immediate family. House is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Totally enjoyed our stay. Was surprised that there was no “info sheet” at the home with WiFi passwords, how to operate pool waterfall, emergency listings, etc, but we did receive an email with it when requested. No 6 passenger golf cart available as listed.

Nice house in a great location. Friendly neighbors. Some portions of the house are very clearly in need of repair. Firepit and bags game were very enjoyable as well as the screen in porch. Great pool but was very very dirty the first full day of our stay—pool cleaner came in the afternoon it took til the following day for it to look somewhat clean. Throw blankets were dirty and stained. Lacked basics like soap in bathrooms and only one roll of paper towels provided for kitchen— and no basic disposables like baggies, Saran Wrap or tinfoil. Propertyw manager very inflexible with check in and check out times for our group—flying in from far away with multiple small children. Also not great instructions/communication regarding property details.

Our family had a wonderful stay this fall at our IOP beach house. While we here we updated the kitchen appliances, added a new faucet, had the outside of the home repainted, added a new den tv as well as new blinds, replaced the screened in porch, replaced both staircases with trex, added a firepit to the back yard behind the swimming pool, added new lights to the pool area, replaced the front door and added a new punch pad keyless entry. As you may know- the salt air can be rough on the exterior of a home. We decided to replace the slightly rusting front door scones with new lighting fixtures that are more durable. We went through the linen closet and removed old sheets-sets and towels and purchased new replacement linens. While fishing from the dock we caught red fish, stingrays, speckled trout and even a few crabs. We pressure washed the dock.It was great seeing some of the friendly and kind neighbors along our street. We enjoyed walking along Ocean Blvd for both dog walks as well as walking down to front beach "downtown" for the occasional dining out. We absolutely love how nice everyone is and how cozy and clean the Isle of Palms continues to be. Can't wait to return next fall!

Property needs maintenance on inside and out -oven doesn’t work -dryer needs to run 3 continuous cycles to dry one load of towels -kitchen sink faucet cap broken and the head won’t stay in the faucet -back sliding door extremely hard to open and close -security on the steps to the pool doesn’t latch (inoperable) -lights on golf cart so not work and brakes are bad on golf cart as well -master bath the blinds are broken and won’t close -the blinds behind the couch do not close and neighbors can see straight through house

The location of the property on IOP is perfect, not too mention IOP is an incredible place to stay. Beach was super close, clean, not crowded, and very enjoyable. House was exactly what we needed. After a morning at the beach, the kids would spend the rest of the day in the pool, if we were not going to Charleston which is about 20 minutes away. Plenty of places to eat on IOP, and even more on Sullivans Island and Mount Pleasant, but took advantage of the well stocked kitchen to cook and enjoy more of our days touring, and beachcombing. This was our first trip to Charleston, but we will certainly go back, and Isle of Palms will certainly be where we stay. If this house is available, then we will bee back to enjoy it again!

The house was very nice; perfect for children, within walking distance from the beach, and close to Charleston. However, I am disappointed with the lack of communication from the property manager regarding the very loud construction next door and the lawn maintenance crew that unexpectedly showed up during our stay. I had contacted the property manager regarding this and was told the construction only recently “popped up” and was given a number to call if there were concerns surrounding noise. The construction was permitted to take place from 7:30-6 at night. It was very difficult to be outside and relax because we could barley hear each other talk over the music and constant banging. On Thursday , lawn maintenance men showed up while we were out at the pool in bathing suits with our children and just threw chairs around and proceeded to do their jobs acting as if we were in their way. They also blew off the front porch where our personal belongings were and freshly mowed grass around our cars. I have never stayed at a place that I have dealt with this. When spending a lot of money on a place you expect it to be relaxing and it was far from that. The property manager was emailed again about the lawn maintenance and noise from the construction and completely ignored my email. I truly felt, as did all the adults staying, that we should have been notified prior to our arrival or at least given a partial discount for the constant disruption we dealt with the entire week.

This property was in great proximity to the beach and easily accessible by golf cart even though the cart is dated and barely has brakes. The cleanliness of the property was less than desirable. We found glow sticks etc left over from previous renters. The dishwasher was so gross and had black debris all along the inside that we hand-washed A LOT of dishes. The pool was dirty and the filter kept shutting off. Overall we managed to enjoy our stay. We stayed at the beach mostly and brought our own grill to cook on. The pool table was great for late night fun and there was plenty of space for all of us adults.

This could not have been a better house for our 10 family members to share a vacation that the memories will last a lifetime. We had never taken a big trip together and this house provided a perfect environment! The house was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Both porches had great breezes and a view of the pool to keep a watchful eye on the kids. The chairs around the pool and porches were great quality to lounge on. The pool is around 3 1/2 to 4 ft and has steps in it where you can just sit and relax or paddle around. For kids it was the perfect pool to play in. We loved the waterfall ! The swing set was a major plus too. It is about a block to the beach which is an easy walk but the kids and loved taking a spin In the golf cart to get there. The adults LOVED playing pool! The table in the kitchen became a wonderful place to sit and share stories. It was so comfortable we only went out to dinner one night and besides grocery shopping we stayed at the house or on the beautiful beach. Even though there are only 2 full baths we managed just fine. The full washer and dryer were on the same floor as the bedrooms which was so convenient. I can not thank the owners enough for providing such a comfortable place that allowed us to share such a special time with our loved ones. ❤️❤️

With our home open and with the 2 last reviews, we decided to stay at the home the weekend of May 22nd to do some deferred maintenance. During our stay we: Pressure washed the house as there was oak and pine pollen everywhere, painted the railings, stained the wood decks, put up new window screens, cut back a few shrubs, moved our personal golf cart over there to replace the older one, tightened up a few lose things and gave the home an over-all get ready for summer spruce up. We agree there were a few things that needed attention, but we feel like it is good to go, now!

The property is as advertised as it is close to beach and town. It is a comfortable home. Fully stocked kitchen, spacious living area and the beds and pillows are top rate! The carpet upstairs surely needs a good cleaning or replaced. There is some age to this home and it shows. The master suite is very comfortable, but again the carpet, the ceiling fan are filthy. There are patch works on the ceiling, empty & broken rod holder above the window. Especially on the outside deck area in back. Nearly every screen is loose or flapping in the wind. The back deck area is filthy along all the ledges. Outdoor furniture is Polywood, but black! Ouch .. hot. No pads on them.The pool is nice, but it needed swept, and is smaller. The “bar area” outside needs re-do. They have toys there to play in the water with for the kids. The grill, well it is encroached on by the rose bush and looks as if someone scorched the rose bush from the fire. A nice little fenced in Area with nice fig trees and decorative trees. Bring your own TP, they supply you with a 1 ply paper. The golf cart/ it was great to have as town was just blocks away, but, I’m going to guess this thing is 30 years old? You have to hold the steering wheel at a 180 in order to go straight. The brakes., well you would do better dragging your feet. It creaks, cracks and clunks. As for communication with the owner, we had an issue, it was resolved. But, the timing was not acceptable nor was his snarky remarks. I will leave it at that. I would not rent this property again because of him and that it is over priced for the condition of the house and the golf cart.

Wonderful location. Less than 2 blocks to the beach. And it was great to take the golf cart to dinner. Several restaurants within blocks from the house. House was clean inside but the screened porch at the back of the home needs some major cleaning. It’s too dirty to really enjoy and certainly wouldn’t eat out there even though there is a table that would have been nice to enjoy dinner at. Pool w waterfall is very nice but the area near the garage and where the “bar” is needs to be cleaned and maintained and the grill looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time. I would never have cooked on it given the condition. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay mostly because of the location, we will not rent here again. We have the paid the same at other homes that were simply maintained better and as such were more comfortable and to our taste given the price of the rental. The check in option in Vrbo didn’t work. It implies that you will receive some notification of code for check in. We didn’t see any information there and chatted with Vrbo but were unsuccessful. We emailed the owner and left a voice mail. Without any response after about 25 mins we called him back. We said we were at the home and didn’t have the code to enter the home. He said “well I guess that’s a problem”. An unnecessarily snarky remark and one I shouldn’t have to hear given the $5K for the week we spent renting the home. This home has had some good reviews and I am sure the property was suitable for some but it was not up to my standards based on a price to quality perspective.
