'The staff was amazing well valetet and the bellsman. Tbis was my first visit to South Carolina so im trying not to be judgemental when i say this, I was absolutely charged at the extreme price even after booking through expedia. The lady at the fronq desk told me $890 was for incidentals after i was already cjarges $800 plus through expedia and told i only owed resort fees at Wild Dunes. I am so disappointed with this visit'

'Terribly run down. Loud. Lights shining in our room. Bathroom fixtures coming off the wall. I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Pot smoke rolling under the connecting room door. Pool closed. But, staff were nice and efficient…they just didn’t have much to work with. And, I never do reviews.'

'The place was very nice, right off the beach, and overall a clean establishment. The only issues I had was the walls felt paper thin. I heard every conversation in the rooms next to me and above me. Another flaw was the way the building was designed which gave the corridor a huge echo which exacerbated the noise problem. Also, there were a group of guys that were roomed right next to us and they kept us awake until about 1:30am and even then there were the occasional bangs, yelling, and music...

'The front desk person was not very welcoming. However the room was a good size and clean. I would describe the place as very average and a bit dated. A typical budget hotel. '

'We were very happy with our stay here. The shower is the ONLY thing I would say needs updating shower pressure was not great either but this didn’t ruin our stay. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff is very friendly. Overall we had a very good experience and would stay again.'

'The staff was amazing! Expedia changed our reservation without consulting us (gave us a room with one bed for 4 people!), and although the property had no other rooms available, they made our stay great! '

'We enjoy this hotel. It is in a convenient location for us. The breakfast is good and the pool area is nice. It is also walking distant to several very good restaurants. The problem this stay though was a series of maintenance issues including the batteries for the lock for the room died requiring us to make three inconvenient trips to the fro to desk before maintenance was sent to replace the batteries. '

'Easy check in, great room, and quiet - everything I needed! '

'Unfortunately we were very disappointed in our stay. We checked in around 10 pm and were told we could not get an extra blanket or pillow because housekeeping was gone and the clerk was not able to get the items for us. The tool was decently clean until we found a bug on our pillow, a hole in the wall that made us uncomfortable so I had to stuff tissue paper in it, the toilet seat came off and a picture fell off the wall at 5 am and scared us to death. There was also a sketchy man standing by...

'Pool was closed. Breakfast was good. Hotel was a but dated but very clean and convenient.'
