We enjoyed the location because it exposed us to an area we might have overlooked if we stayed closer to Bar Harbor.'

'The ONLY thing this Motel had going for it was the location. When we arrived, we went to our room which had peeling paint in the bathroom shower, broken door, a very loud squeaky bed when tried it out by sitting on it, and the room was dirty and in need of repairs. We went to the office to get another room. The next room we were given was not any better, but no rooms were available in the area, so we stuck it out as long as possible. This room had a plumbing pipe sticking out of the wall...
