'Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

'Place was small but clean. Set in pines back from road. Fun outdoor family restaurant serving seafood and other foods just a walk away. Short drive into Bar Harbor downtown. Good parking and good price for high season summertime. We would stay the ere again.'
