'Great location! Just a 3min walk from the free island explorer shuttle to the north (Bar Harbor Campground stop) and an amazing BBQ and ice cream place to the south (Mainely Meat BBQ/Udder Heaven Ice Cream). The pool was lovely, the staff was friendly, and it was exactly what we expected.'

'The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...

'Stay away from the Bates Motel! This place is absolutely disgusting....from the holes in the carpets, to the torn lampshades, to the 1/8" dust everywhere in the room. Our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all...and the carpet at least 6 months since the last time it was vacuumed. Oh, and the mold in the bathroom and dead bugs stuck to the ceiling really sealed the deal for us. Stay away at all costs!'

'The property was very clean and well maintained. The shuttle bus service that runs all day into Bar Harbor is so convenient. No worries about parking. No long wait for shuttles. Bathroom had no exhaust fan and it did get quite hot after showering. I couldn’t even blow dry my hair in the bathroom it was so warm.'

'Room and inn were beautiful! Gail was a wonderful host! The breakfasts were very yummy!! The bed was pretty hard and there wasn’t air conditioning in our room which made sleeping uncomfortable in the warm weather.'

'For $375 a night , Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the hallway and room carpeting. No blackout curtain liners in our room and our room was on a balcony where the inn leaves the lights on all night which made it difficult to sleep and offered no real privacy with sheer curtains. Dusty old silk trees in common areas were awful. fake roses in breakfast room; tacky items sitting haphazardly on furniture and mantels like a silk christmas poinsettia in the month of August. NO one is...

'Mooi modern hotel midden in het centrum . Hebben sauna , hot tub en fitness ruimte. De ruimte om het ontbijt te nuttigen is wel heel krap. Genoeg variatie . Kamer is netjes, schoon en modern.'
