Het viel ontzettend tegen. De kamers waren vies en er werd niet goed schoongemaakt. Er was van alles stuk wat vervolgens niet werd gerepareerd. Het ontbijt was vreselijk; en er was helemaal geen keus. De foto’s kwamen helemaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. We hebben niet gekregen waar we voor hebben betaald. Ik raad dit hotel helaas echt af!

Fijn hotel met een zeer gunstige ligging
Een goede en verzorgde ontvangst. De kamers zijn netjes. Douche is goed. Het hotel is geen super de luxe hotel, maar perfect voor een citytrip. Ontbijt is op z'n Turks, dus houd daar rekening mee. Enige twee mindere punten zijn dat de sprei op het bed de nodige vetvlekken vertoonde en bij vlagen het verkeerslawaai. Het hotel heeft een uitstekende ligging t.o.v. de bekende bezienswaardigheden zoals Ayasofia, Blauwe moskee en Topkapipaleis. Tramverbinding ook vlakbij. Alles binnen een loopafstand van 10 min. Omliggende omgeving heeft meer dan voldoende mogelijkheden voor een maaltijd. Servicevriendelijkheid personeel is prima. We kregen zelfs een pasje voor de tram in bruikleen. Moesten alleen opwaarderen, maar per rit scheelde het meer dan de helft in kosten.

Es war unsere notunterkunft wurden freundliche aufgenommen daher vielen lieben dank.. an der sauberkeit könnte man noch einiges verbessern und auch mit der ausstattung.. steckdose waren nur halbe in der wand und das einte zimmer roch zimlich nach rauch weil sie neben dem zimmer geraucht haben.. es war zum teil recht laut aber glaube auch weil das haus halt zimlich hellhörig war. Der ort liegt aber wirklich gut und das personal war auch freundlich..

The location is great but that's about it! The property is very old and needs a lot of repairs. The lady at reception is VERY LOUD! They don't consider the time and when people are sleeping. She would be yelling at 1am . We asked several times for our rooms tvs to be fixed but that never happened. I really wish I had read the reviews before booking. I would pay a bit more and get a better hotel.

ITS A TRAP! Do not ruin your vacation on this place. The reception is not friendly. We booked for several nights. They didn’t have our room ready and we were placed in some random dirty beaten down apartment not even another hotel. They made money off us while they booked other people in our room. This is scamming people. Meanwhile we were at the re option we heard another and don’t expect Expedia to help, they were useless! cou Le complaint. Nothing is as they promise!

The hotel is located in a decent neighborhood, not too far from Sultanahmet and all the tourist places. Breakfast was less than exciting and there was no room cleaning service for the 4 days I stayed. Not sure if I had to explicitly ask them for it. Overall, not bad for the price.

The worst hotel you can ever book. Please trust me and never book this hotel. This hotel stinks so bad, have mold and disgusting rooms. The restroom have the galley opening with no locks. No security at all .

You will be lucky if you got hot water for a shower. No heating in dining areas. Bath tubs need replacing. Very noisy at night in reception. If you did not ask for fresh towels, they would not be changed.

A notre arrivée le menage n'était pas fait ils ont juste déplié le canapé, il y avait de la poussière en dessous, les tasses des anciennes personnes étaient encore là avec un fond de liquide (cafe thé ?) On a réclamé un drap on nous a répondu qu'il y avait pas et on nous a ramené une couette humide. On s'est plaint on nous a promis de nous changer de chambre à cause du bruit, la chambre était juste à côté de la salle petit déjeuner, le lendemain le ménage a été fait comme il se doit, alors qu'il n'avait pas été fait ni avant ni pendant notre séjour à la rigueur changement de serviettes et pas régulièrement.mon amie étant allergique à la poussière nous avons écourté notre séjour dans cet hôtel (non remboursable)

Beware of deceitful pictures on their website!
This hotel is a complete mascarade! What you see on their website (which looks great and cozy), reality is "it is awefully filthy". The misleading 8.5 rating might have been correct when the hotel launched. Now I would not advise anyone (family, big or small) to go there. We took 2 rooms. One was assigned to us de facto and it was so bad that we decided then to go to another hotel (we had alread paid $1000). It had a terrible smell, a mix of cooking and unhealthy moisture. Unbearable! We demanded to change and we got another one and got bit by mosquitos every night, My kids got bit and kept scratching where it itched the whole day. We gave them some medicine. The shower was filthy. The picture shows an elevator. It does not function! (It was one of the criteria to select this hotel: grandma cannot take stairs.) We skipped all breakfasts because it was bare minimum, served on a plate ahead of time by someone, and in an obscure room in the open courtyard with 4 or 5 cats running all over. An unleashed black dog sits on the already dirty couches and - although harmless - scared my kids every now and then whenever popping from nowhere. The smoking area is right at the front door, thus letting all the smoke get in. We could smell tobacco smoke from the rooms on the same floor. The only positives that must be stated: a nice receptionist who apologetically changed the rooms for us twice, and the proximity to the sea shore at a walking distance from the hotel. True rating? Barely 2.

On arrival the rooms that we booked were not available, we were given different accommodation at nearby hotel, the accommodation was dirty, old furniture, mouldy bathroom, next day we got told we have to be moved again as the accommodation is booked, we were given another place a small apartment that was in worse condition then the first one, and we didn't have any saying on where they are moving us. we booked to rooms in Aruna hotel not moving every day in different accommodation, we chose Aruna hotel on the base of 4 stars, but our accommodation was not even 2 stars.

Lilia nla anfitriona fue muy amable y nos dio un UPGRADE a un departamento con hermosa vista al BOSFORO la noche de llegada, despues fuimos a nuestras habitaciones que estaban muy buenas... hermosa experiencia en el HOTEL .... me volveria a quedar en el hotel de regreso a Estambul.. personal muy agradable, hotel en lugar centrico con acceso facil a movilidad tanto caminando por Sultanamet o tomar taxis.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in my entire life! Don't believe the pictures you see in the hotel listings. Those pictures must have been taken 10 years ago. The hotel is in an awful shape! The bathrooms are run-down. Showers have old mold and broken shelves. We stayed in a basement rooms with shower cabins lifted up in almost 70 centimeters from the floor and it was very difficult to get into and out of them. The bedding was awful. Some pillows had no pillow cases and had old yellow stains all over them. Some pillows were stuffed with some uneven lumps of something. When we moved in my blanket was still wet. Also my wife's blanket had some dead insects in them. The towels are so old that they had holes in them. Some towels were just torn in half to be smaller. At one point we asked a cleaning person to take out several trash bags with food in them, and that person just left them outside our room on the floor. The elevator that is prominently pictured in one of the photos does not work. The place has dogs running around in the cafeteria and at the entrance. One big not pleasantly looking dog just spreads itself on the welcome mat and sleeps and you have to make sure you don't step over it! On the positive side, the staff was friendly and was trying to help. But still the condition were horrible and we were so glad we finally checked out of that place!

we had the worst experience there, the hotel staff is not helping at all, They show their hotel 4 stars, but in reality it is not even 1 star. we had total 2 rooms 4 night booking, but after just 1 night we decided to leave this bad hotel. there are no curtains in the rooms so everyone from other building can see you. the fridge & TV not working. not recommended at all, don't trust the photos these are all lies.

Kein 4 Sterne Hotel, sondern Boutique Hotel
Im Internet steht es sei ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Das ist gelogen! Es ist wenn überhaupt ein 2 Sterne Hotel. Die Betten sind kaputt und die Dusche in unseren Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert. Die Mitarbeiterin Lili war das einzig positive an unserem Aufenthalt. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hilfreich.

Vi havde reserveret to værelser. Værelserne var meget klamme og havde ikke været rengjort ordentligt. Puderne lugtede og gulvet var meget beskidt. Man kunne ikke lukke døren til brusekabinet. Vi fortalte receptionisten omkring dette og hun blev ved med at sige, at andre gæster var tilfredse. Vi snakkede med andre, og de havde åbenbart også klaget. Vi ankom til morgenmad med skuffelse. Maden var ringe, og der var lidt udvalg. Vi valgte at spise ude det resterende tid. Efter mange klager fra os, fik vi lov til at flytte til en lejlighed et stykke fra selve hotellet. Lejligheden var renere og lugtede bedre.
