I stayed in 5 different hotels during my visit to Istanbul this time. Thid Rotana was unfortunately the worst. The rooms were very dirty. The first room they gave me smelled like pee, then they moved me to a suite which was also dirty with dust and stains all over the floor and smelly pillows. The lication is also inconvenient, not pedestrian friendly, you will have to take a taxi to go anywhere and not much is going on in the area beside Mall of Istanbul really. Anyway the poor cleanliness is the main reason why this Rotana is a terrible choice, I checked 2 nights early and left my nonrefundable charge because I couldn't stand the nasty bed and the dusty stained floors. I stayed in Rotanas before and they were typically great this one falls far below the standard. The interesting part is that the public areas are very clean which goes to show that the staff actually knows how to clean properly they just slack when it comes to areas where no one is checking.

Vi bodde på dette hotellet for 7 netter og fant den middels grei sammenlignet med mange andre hoteller. Det manglet en god del fasiliteter som Tyrkisk hamam, fungerende sauna og dårlig utvalg av frokost buffer. Inne Basseng hadde også veldig kalt vann ca 18 grader som er unormalt i slike hotell så barna ble litt skuffet. Det første suite vi fikk hadde ekstremt vond kloakk luft, men ble byttet på 5 min uten noe stress. På positive siden var det fin utsikt, relativt fresh hotell. Personell var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme fra A til Å. Alt i alt en sterk 3.

It should never be preferred due to hygiene issues 1.room: I chose a suite room for 1 night. When I entered the room, I noticed that the air conditioner was disturbingly loud. The technical team checked and stated that the engine was broken. The relevant staff helped me to move to another room. Since there was no other suite, they directed me to a 1+1 room instead of a suite. 2.room: When I took the towel after showering in the new room, I observed that it was dirty. The refrigerator was not working externally. For this reason, I transferred me to another 1+1 room. When I moved to the other 1+1 room, I observed that the floors were dirty, unclean and dusty. I requested another 1+1 clean room again. The staff helped me and allowed me to choose a room by visiting 3 rooms one by one. When I visited the 3 rooms, the first 2 rooms were dirty and not clean. The floors were dusty and dirty. I chose the 3rd room, which was the cleanest among them. 3.room: When I went to the 3rd room, I observed that there was someone else's underwear in the small toilet. I reported the situation to the authorized personnel, but I had to use it because I changed rooms 3 times during the day. Externally, I told them there were no slippers in the room and the slippers arrived 30 minutes later. I changed 3 rooms in 1 day. I had problems in every room. Reception staff, technical staff and bellboy are helpful. However, this is a hotel that should never be preferred due to cleanliness and hygiene issues.

We will not return to this property and we will not recommend it because of the unprofessional and discourteous staff.The receptionist staff upon us checking in seemed overwhelmed and stressed in her words and actions as she checked us in.There was No Internet service available upon arrival for approximately 6hours with no update from hotel staff. This was a huge inconvenience for us as we were transiting and choose this hotel solely for a few hours sleep, confirm ongoing airline flights and to check in on the next leg of our journey. Never again.

The place is generally below expectations.. rooms are not properly cleaned.. overall the furniture and amenities are worn out and misused furniture seems to be left without replacement or recovery.. Staff were average attitude wise and the same thing goes for their uniforms which seem to be overused and not renewed for a long time.. Overall it was below expectations even though i generally dont expect extravagance from Rotana

Service d’accueil impeccable le réceptionniste à notre arrivée est très accueillant, piscine et jacuzzi dans un cadre fantastique. Quelques tous petits défauts dans notre chambre comme une poignée et un rideau à moitié cassé vous pouvez le signaler à l’accueil sans problème mais le reste est très confortable (lit, vue, petit déjeuner) Attention aux taxis qui ne connaissent pas l’hôtel n’hésitez pas à leur donner votre GPS du téléphone. L’entrée de l’hôtel est très discrète et isolée
