Eenmaal aangekomen bij het hotel bleek dat wij de verkeerde gewenste kamer hadden aangeklikt tijdens het boeken van de vakantie. Maar dat maakte niks uit voor het hotel. Ze hebben ons gevraagd om even ergens te gaan eten en als we terug zouden komen, zou onze kamer gereed zijn voor gebruik. We hebben stomverbaasd (positief) gekeken naar wat voor kamer we hebben gekregen. Hij was zeer ruim en super netjes. We zijn super blij geweest met de service van het personeel. Dit is 100 procent een aanrader en wij gaan zeker terug naar dit hotel voor de volgende vakantie naar Istanbul.

Prachtig hotel!! Super goed gelegen en als is echt heel schoon. Ik was erg blij met mijn keuze voor dit hotel! Het ontbijt was heerlijk en fijn dat er werd afgewisseld met het eten. Dus idere dag wat anders. We hebben zelfs heerlijke zelfgemaakte pancakes gehad! Dit was onze 2e keer in Istanbul, maar vanaf nu boek ik alleen nog dit hotel. Extra bedankje aan 'Merçedes'? . Ik weet niet hoe je zin naam spelt, maar hij was heel erg vriendelijk en super behulpzaam. Toen het regende, gaf hij ons een paraplu en hij hielp ons met de koffers. Super vriendelijk! De vrouw (volgens mij de eigenaresse) was ook ontzettend vriendelijk en geïnteresseerd. Ze heette ons steeds weer welkom. Bedankt erboy hotel! Tot volgend jaar in shaa Allah!

 A great hotel in its entirety. From it's service to the food to the cleaning. Daily cleaning of the rooms and even mopping the floors. The reception is just great, they fix your issue or get you what you asked in no time. Thanks to Burak for always being ready at the reception. Erdinc from the bar is really good at his job. Showing a friendly smile and providing great service. The restaurant is phenomal, from the great service provided by Savaş, to the amazing cooking skills of Yüksel usta. Let's not forget the location as well. Perfectly sentered near historical sights and near trainstations enabling to get anywhere in the city really fast. Again, the hotel is perfect. Washing services, room cleaning, reception, cooking, everything and so much more. I definitely recommend this place!

Afgelopen 4 dagen verbleven in kamer 209. Alles was tot aan de puntjes over nagedacht en perfect. Hygiëne uitmuntend 👍personeel erg vriendelijk.Locatie super centraal. Metro en tram op steenworp afstand. Nog paar jaar oud, dus alles was mooi schoon en nieuw. Eroy hotel wordt ons vaste adres voor trip naar Istanbul.

prima verblijf. zeer goed service, superaardig personeel. koffer was kwijt en hotelpersoneel heeft alles geregeld dat ik mijn koffer weer netjes terugkreeg, bezorgd en wel in het hotel. zeer behulpzaam en erg aardig. heerlijk dakterras. kamer was wat verouderd. kleine badkamer die echt aan renovatie toe was. maar doordat het hotel verder helemaal top was hebben we ons hier niet aan geergerd. alles is wel super schoon en werd elke dag schoongemaakt. ontbijt is prima. wel elke dag hetzelfde. locatie kan niet beter !!

Voor iedereen een aanrader m.n. gezien de ligging
ondanks dat er een onduidelijk probleem was met de kamer(s) bij aankomst (wellicht overboekt), waardoor we de eerste nacht in een ander hotel (om de hoek) hebben moeten doorbrengen valt er weinig negatiefs op te merken over Erboy Hotel. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding (zolang het duurt...qua prijs dan...).

The hotel was okay, it was clean but the actual facility of bathroom were rather poorer then expected, shower too small, shower doors didn’t close properly, the door to the bathroom was made up off mirror in chipboard type frames and not pleasant. Very little storage for clothes. Breakfast was rather poor, very limited choice, it was very basic. Staff smoking on corridors, could spell it all the time. Not worth the price tag.

First of all, I would like to say that the staff was brilliant and everyone was so kind. In terms of the room, it's very cosy and comfortable. Not the biggest room but it was still very spacious for 2 people. The location is excellent, all main sites are closeby with ATMs very close to the hotel. The breakfast buffet isn't the best in terms of selections but it's alright. It would be great if the hotel could offer an ironing board and iron for the room instead of just laundry service.

Very Small beds No proper sheets - must request daily They are not happy with you and treat you poorly if you do not take breakfast with them. They pressured us to buy New Year dinner with them. Their offers are often pricey and not worth the money; just like their breakfast- low class This is definitely not 4 Star- don’t blindly trust Expedia star rating anymore. No proper cleaning Floor often too vacuumed Utilities, water not provided No tea/ coffee When requesting the utilities mentioned, they would give excuses saying no key, give tomorrow etc Sometime no tissue paper on the holder Only 2 coffee sachets left in the room They mislead our Uber driver saying we left to airport When asked they said they can get you another taxi (they charge 50 Euros for the trip) They were rude; unkind and made our stay difficult. Very unprofessional. Mostly men. The manager was a woman who was so incompetent and weak. She got nothing resolved. Things only worsened after we complained to Expedia.

Our beds are standard sizes and you had been provided exact dimensions beforehand.-upon your request the bed sheets have been replaced daily, providing additional layers for your comfort. We use bed sheets and covers of 100% cotton thin thread weave offering that smooth feel and good wear.- if our guests make a reservation without breakfast and still wish to join our breakfast service, they would be requested to pay for it. All of our guests regardless of the reservation type are treated with respect and friendliness.-upon your check-in we mentioned that we have a New Year's Eve's dinner event at our hotel and provided you with a copy of the menu. We are very sorry it made you feel pressured.- 4 star hotel rating is provided by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism after long examinations, ratings and audits.- all items have been placed in your rooms as per hotel standard, after your additional requests, additional items were provided to you as a courtesy from the hotel without any charge.- your room has been cleaned daily and examined by executive housekeeper before being delivered to you.-our reception had no information about you ordering a car and when the car arrived you were nowhere around. We did not tell the driver anything as we did not have any information of your whereabouts. It was the driver's decision not to wait for you.- yes, we may assist our guests by calling a regular taxi or booking a private transfer.- our personnel are kind and always helpful. I have approached you, asking if you are comfortable at the hotel and if there is anything we can do for you- the only thing you requested were extra sachets of coffee, water in your room and your floor mopped, which I personally witnessed being placed and done in your room, so the issues you spoke to me about did get resolved in fact.On the first day of your stay, you have requested a full refund of your stay (expecting to continue your stay after the refund), which was declined, as it had no reasonable basis. Overall the hotel is well maintained , and it’s walking distance to the most of attractions in old town. The staff in reception is nice, but we tried to ask for just one more bottle of water, and the hotel charged us, which is quite disappointed. also there was an old male staff in breakfast desk ( 2023/12/31), he had no smile , and we found he was sleeping , and when he woke up , he became quite rude and not professional, maybe the hotel can adjust his position to somewhere where not get in touch with customer, so that your hotel Can be elevated.

Well maintained property. Egle, Ali and other staff very helpful. Ideal location. Only criticism would be that the breakfast was increased from €10 to €15 and we found it too expensive for what was on offer especially as it was mainly cold foods. Apart from that, would definitely recommend the place.

This hotel is located in a very good location, near to the main tourist attractions. Metro, train and ferry terminals are in walking distance to the hotel along with a good variety of restaurants, shops and takeaways. Had a room booked for a week with two single bed at this hotel. This room was decent in size. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily by the lovely lady. The beds in the room were found to be uncomfortable for me and my friend. Hard, extra stiff mattresses made getting a good nights sleep difficult. The single beds are on the small size, with my feet sticking out the bed (I’m 6ft). Beds moved very easily due to the laminate flooring in the rooms. We had paid for breakfast at this hotel which I feel was a mistake. Poor quality of food and variety. I have stayed in Istanbul hotels offering free breakfasts with better quality and variety therefore was disappointed having paid extra for this level of breakfast. The staff were friendly and warm, always acknowledging you on entering and exiting the hotel. However I was left bemused on checking out when the staff failed to open the door whilst I juggled two suitcases and a bag. I was most disappointed at this. I had arranged a transport service with the hotel. Paid with a combination of euros and GBP on checking in but when paying for the airport transfer in advance of checking out was told GBP is not accepted, some consistency lacking. Overall this could be a good hotel with some changes.

séjour de 5 nuits. Emplacement superbe. A part cela, c'est bof, les chambres sont petites, impossible de mettre les valises ouvertes. De plus, ,notre chambre avait comme vue des escalier de secours. Pas voir le ciel, rien. Donc rien d'extraordinaire.

Personal muy agradable y atento, las habitaciones de 20 metros cuadrados con ducha, muy bien equipadas. También tienen caja fuerte y gratis.! Las ventanas insonorizadas y osciló batientes. En general muy bien y además muy cerca de todos los sitios interesantes para ver en la ciudad. Si vuelvo procuraré ir al mismo hotel.

Stayed there 5 days, in September 23. Nice updated hotel. Location is superb. Staff is polite, welcoming and all speak English. Rooms are on smaller side but sufficient. Mattress was comfortable, no noises or smells. Short walking distance to restaurants, historic sights, public transport. Would recommend this place, and I would stay there again.

Erboy Hotel in Istanbul was a very nice hotel to stay at. The Guest Relations Manager, Egle was very friendly and helpful. She also responded to all e-mails prior to our stay with complete answers. The only sad part was that she was off work for 2 days during our visit. This hotel is very clean and modern at a reasonable price. Everyone at the Reception desk speaks English (Egle also speaks Russian). The hotel is at a great location in the historic area of Istanbul where many tourist attractions can be walked to. I highly recommend Erboy Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul on a smaller budget but still requires a quality hotel. Our rooms had refrigerators which is very nice to store cold snacks. The TV worked great. The only complaints I have are minor: the floor of my room could have used a more thorough vacuum before checking in. The elevator is tiny so you might have to wait your turn in line to use it. This hotel offers breakfast, but breakfast is not included with the price of the room. The view across the street out of the room windows from the higher floors of the hotel is unusual.

The staff here couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Location was fantastic. We were able to walk to the Blue mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Spice market shopping areas were also close by. A little farther afield was Independence Ave with its modern shopping. Restaurants were nearby. The restaurant recommended as low cost good food was as advertised. We actually went there twice. Amenities were lacking by North American standards but we were too busy to care. The only amenity we used was the rooftop bar where we kicked back and had a cold one while deciding what to do next. No one in our group of eight had any negative comments.
