We verbleven in Ferman hotel voor een week in februari 2019. Gelegen in de toeristische wijk net in het centrum van de oude stad was het gezellig. Onze kamer was op de eerste verdieping, groot genoeg voor ons gezin van 5.De slaapomstandigheden waren comfortabel; badkamerfaciliteiten, alle meubels en apparaten werkten perfect. De schoonmaakservice heeft onze ruimte dagelijks schoongemaakt. Inclusief ontbijt verschillende soorten eten, vrij genoeg om eigen menu te bouwen volgens ieders voorkeur. Het hotel is goed beheerd. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel onmiddellijk aanwezig bij al onze behoeften en beantwoordde vragen over de stad, ferry tijdschema, een taxi bestellen, een tour boeken enz. Ik moet bekennen dat Ferman hotel manier onze verwachtingen overtrof. Ik wil graag het hotelteam bedanken voor hun gastvrijheid die heeft bijgedragen aan onze algehele positieve indruk over Istanbul!

Klein maar fijn, comfortabel hotel.
Het was voor ons niet nodig om daar in Sultanahmet meerdere dagen te verblijven. Hooguit twee nachten is voldoende. Hoeft niet herhaald te worden.

locatie prima, op loopafstand van veel bezienswaardigheden en het (prima geregelde) openbaar vervoer. Mooi hotel, prima kamer. Ontbijt is goed. Uitzicht over Bosporus en blauwe moskee, nog mooier dan op het plaatje!

Prima hotel, geweldige ligging!
Drie nachten doorgebracht in het Ferman hotel. Prima verblijf gehad. Onze standaard kamer werd geüpgraded tot een penthouse suite zonder extra kosten. Hierdoor hadden we een prachtig uitzicht over de blauwe moskee. Kamer werd keurig schoongehouden. Turks ontbijt werd goed verzorgd. Centrale ligging in Sulthanamet; op loopafstand van de blauwe moskee, Aya Sofia, grand bazaar en Topkapi paleis. Wij zouden hier een 2e keer opnieuw boeken!

Extremely happy with our stay at the Ferman Hotel in Istanbul. You cannot ask for a better location specifically if you have limited time. Close to all the historical sites. Above all the staff was super helpful. A shout out for Omer, very friendly and helpful gentleman. Our room got upgraded when we arrived at the hotel. I apologize that I don’t remember every one’s name but all staff at the reception and breakfast station was extremely polite, professional and friendly. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant.

The location of this charming hotel is simply unbeatable. Situated in the heart of the historic Old City, it offers easy access to some of Istanbul's most iconic attractions. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar were all within a short walking distance. The hotel's reception and staff deserve a special mention for their service. They were always polite and ready to assist with smile and a wealth of local knowledge. I would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed the service provided by the staff. Always helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a view of the İstanbul skyline. The room was clean and well taken care of. The hotel is conveniently located and most of the attractions in then old city are walking distance. Public transport and restaurants are close by.

Enjoyable stay
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It is very close to the tram just be five minutes walk. The staff are outstanding, especially I would like to mention Nusret he's at the front desk he's a very helpful person. At night, there was not that much noise from outside what helps as Istanbul is a very busy place.

The hotel is in the best location. So many local restaurants to choose from, and a walk away from the sea shore. Really safe area with tourists around. The hotel itself was wonderful, the staff were welcoming and absolutely helpful. Their English skills are better then mine as a native speaker. The staff know the area well and give honest advice. Have told my whole family to visit the Ferman Hotel.

Staff were amazing - all of them. Hotel was very central to all tourist spots. Close to tram. We got great tips from all the staff. Only downside was the AC was not blowing cold air.

Hotel upgraded our stay for 4 nights to a suite that had a balcony and view of the sea. Each and every staff members were helpful and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast in the mornings had a great selection of Turkish and non Turkish food. The best part of our stay was the view from the rooftop deck. We got great tips on where to eat by the staff. Thank you all for a memorable trip!

The hotel located in a walking distance from all amenities, and close to the sea, very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. the breakfast choices in the restaurant was amazing and there was afternoon tea with different treats, tea and coffee. We enjoyed the stay in this hotel and if we have the chance to visit Istanbul again we will definitely chose the same hotel and would recommend it to everyone else.

Hotellet Hardenberg frukost men de hade ingenting emot att man beställde via delivery och avnjuta sin måltid med den fantastiska utsikten från tak terrassen. This was my first time in Istanbul, and I couldn't have had such a great experience without the wonderful assistance from the hotel staff. Ferman arranged my transportation to and from the airport. They were very friendly, and courteous, provided tips for places to dine, and tips for travelers. The staff was very knowledgeable. We had four people in our room, and the room was very spacious, had three different bed options to accommodate all of us, was high quality, clean, and had a large, spacious, and modern bathroom. Overall this was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Ferman to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

Great hotel. Location was perfect - it was so easy to access all the main tourist attractions on foot. Breakfast was good and on a great roof top terrace with awesome views of the city, mosques and Mamara Sea. Staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wir haben uns im Ferman Hotel Old City sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war schön, alles da, was man braucht (täglich Wasser, Kaffee, Tee aufgefüllt), die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, man hatte den Eindruck, dass sich das Team gut versteht und das strahlt positiv aus. Das Frühstück war lecker, alles sehr frisch und immer aufgefüllt. Der Speiseraum ist auch am Nachmittag geöffnet und man hat einen erstklassigen Ausblick auf Istanbul und das Meer. Wir würden das Hotel Freunden weiterempfehlen und selbst wieder hinfahren.

Accueil parfait par Omer. Les autres membres du personnel sont également très chaleureux. Chambre familiale spacieuse, eau, café, thé, gel douche, shampoing fournis. Nettoyage chaque jour de la chambre. Petit déjeuner compris mais un peu simpliste pour ceux qui aiment le sucré. Hotel bien situé dans un bon quartier tout proche des mosquées. Je peux conseiller les formules spa hammam massage que l'hôtel propose un véhicule vient vous chercher et vous raccompagne le tout pour un tarif vraiment correct. Bref nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Ferman hotel.

The staff was very very cordial. The location was just a three to five minute walk to the blue mosques and Hagia Sophia. The view from the rooftop breakfast area was the best view , and that was the reason we chose this hotel . Breakfast was good with a variety of food. There was money exchange a lane away and restaurants as well. We shopped from The Tree of life shop that’s just there with good quality ceramics and excellent people working there as it’s a family owned business . ( I would recommend that shop) Overall our experience at Ferman hotel old city was pretty good and if we go again we will consider it again. The furniture and rug can be upgraded but that to us was not very significant for this trip but If the owners pay attention to it then it would be excellent. The view from our room was of the sea lovely indeed but the view Straight down was of a bunch of rooftops and some shabby looking. ( if that matters to anyone) Nuri and Omer at the front desk were very respectful and helpful. Kept out bags for the day after the check in also till our flight time later in the afternoon. Transportation was also provided with reasonable rates upon request.
