Unprofessional management to handle my dislike of the room as it was uncomfortable small. Then I asked to upgrade to large bed and hotel asked for 50% extra that was much high from around hotel rates. Couldn’t continue staying in small room and requested hotel to cancel booking and refund the money. Reception agreed to receive cash 37euro for one night stay and didn’t provide any receipt claiming that I should ask Expedia to send refund form. I moved out to near hotel and everyday visited reception to ask for refund but agency Expedia replied that was trying to communicate to provider and it was for 5 days till last day of my stay in Istanbul the Hotel Ons replied that No Refund policy on cancelled booking. And Expedia asked to provide room after 6 days ! So I was charged for initial 7 days booking by Expedia plus one night cash by hotel and because I didn’t like the room No Refund. It’s cheaters attitude, my advice to opt for another hotel

We emailed the hotel a few days before our arrival to warn them we would be arriving at about 10 pm. We recieved a reply stating that was fine; our room would be kept until midnight. On arrival at 10 pm we were informed that there was no room for us that night. We could have a room the following night but, in the meantime, we would have to spend the first night at a different hotel. After some waiting around, we were taken there by a porter. The room was tiny, triangular space; very basic - not even a chair to sit on. The breakfast was of poor quality. We were then kept waiting for a porter to come from the other hotel to walk us and our 2 small cases to the original hotel - a whole hour wasted! There we were finally allocated a room for the rest of our stay. Considering that we had booked AND paid for our holiday several months previously, I cannot understand why we had no room available for the first night but, also, why we were told that, if we arrived after midnight, our room would not have been kept - it had already been paid for! We will not be returning to that hotel and, indeed will think twice how we make our bookings in the future. Not a good start to our holiday. The rest was OK.

We moved from an excellent apartment without a pool to this hotel purely to experience some rooftop relaxation. Not worth dragging our suitcases for! Fantastic warm welcome and although early we were allowed straight to our room. Rooms very shabby uneven floor. Bed confortable and clean. Air con seemed dirty so switched it off. The pool was cloudy. Entrance door broken too. Decided to not bother at all with afternoon R&R as far too dangerous looking...even the seating was tired looking. Breakfast was beyond disappointing. Tea and coffee foul let alone the juice! All rather a shame. Would not recommend.

Проживала с подругой с 19 по 22 мая 2014г. Заселилась за 30секунд !!! Такое впечатление ,что нас ожидали ( было приятно) !!! Вместо 2х местного заселили в 3 местный!!!!! В номере все работало!! Завтрак обычный постоянно пополнялся, зато какой ВИД!!!! Терраса с видом на море! Открытая и закрытая! Плюс бонусом есть небольшой бассей и шезлонги!!! Отель удачно расположен! В центре ЛАЛЕЛИ!! Обязательно вернусь еще!!!

Basic hotel with good all round services and accommodation. Fairly quiet for Istanbul. Staff courteous, helpful and efficient. Excellent breakfast. Well positioned for transport links and tourism in Istanbul. Buy an Istanbul Travel Card (at Eminonu bus station). Akbil no longer available. Reduces travel problems. The city is always packed with people so be patient and enjoy the crowds and atmosphere. Don't be intimidated!

We had booked a single room with a double bed. When we arrived to our room it was 2 twin beds pushed together. We asked to have the double bed as requested but were told that we would have to wait until the following day. I asked the girl at the front desk for a price adjustment, but she said she could do nothing about it. They switched our room the following day and it was much better, One of the male front desk clerks( grayish hair mid to late 40's) was very helpful to us by booking our ferry boat trip to Istanbul. The other (black hair late 30's) was indifferent and our requests were an inconvenience.

Good location and convenient. There is a porter service. Breakfast has lots of kinds and was delicious. Near the hotel, there is a supermarket called "my Gross"(Mesihpasa Caddesi No: 3 Laleli Istanbul) . We can get food and drinks.

Good hotel
This hotel is in the business center. It is in a quiet part of the city so perfect for light sleepers. It is near the tram line so easy to get about. Two tram stops for the Grand Bazaar and three from the Blue Mosque. The rooms were clean and comfortable. the breakfast was not very nice but this is typical of Istanbul. The only difficulty is in finding this hotel - we needed some help from a local.

Double-Room much too small for 2 people; cupboard much too small; there was almost no space for moving without colliding with my wife; bathroom not really clean; a lot of things damaged or in no good condition; after showering the floor in the bathroom was completely wet because the bottom of the shower lost water; quality of breakfast (buffet) was not good; receptionist was very unfriendly; the only positive thing was the location (close to the Grand Bazar, Blue Moshee and Hagia Sophia) and the price; honestly I would pay a little bit more to get a cleaner, bigger and more friendly hotel.

Average hotel with very small rooms and very noisy ac. No room for toiletries etc in bathroom but very clean and close to famous attractions e.g. Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque etc. The swimming pool (although very small) can be very refreshing after a warm day. You do get what you pay for with
You do get what you pay for with the Grand Ons. A favourite of Eastern European and Russian tourists, the breakfast spread was "interesting" for us Australians. Live and learn. :) Basic hotel - good price and good location near the Grand Bazaar.

I think that I am quite pleased
I think that I am quite pleased with the facilities and the service of the hotel. I love the breakfast selection better than most hotels of this kind in Istanbul. The only hiccup is finding the hotel. Although it is located near the tram stations and the tourist areas, finding it for the first time would be difficult as not too many taxi drivers know where it is exactly.

Buffet breakfast very good. The rooms are very basic representing the price. Hotel reception leaves a lot to be desired. Taxi best transport from airport to hotel costing around 30 to 34 TL (AUD $24.00)

El personal de recepción no es muy amable... bastante seco. En cuanto a instalaciones está bastante bien, la habitación y el hotel en general están limpios y cuidados. La localización es buena, puesto que está a 5 minutos andando de la estación de tranvía de Aksaray y a unos 7 de Laleli. El precio es bueno.

What looked like a crummy hotel
What looked like a crummy hotel (dated decor, indifferent reception staff) turned out to be fine. The room was big enough and quiet and the cleaning service was excellent. The air conditioning, while a bit noisy, was effective. Hotel has safe deposit facitilites which is useful because, although the area seems safe enough, it is very busy with clothes shops and their Slavic customers. Breakfast was indifferent - shame there was no fresh fruit besides water melon but the cheese/honey/jam selection was fine. It's a 12 minutes walk from Aksaray metro (direct from the airport), about five minutes from the 38 tram to all points of the old city, Eminiou and Kabatas and has a few okay restaurants at the end of the road.

Le service du personnel est un peu froid, mais cela doit être le cas de nombres d'hôtels à touristes.... L'emplacement est par contre trés agréable, pas loin des rives du bosphore et de ses restaurants de poisson et un peu en retrait de la cohue de Sultanahmed et Aya Sofia. Idéal pour découvrir Istanbul.

Location excellent, easy access to taksim by train, near sultan ahmet and beyazid. hotel has pool which is nice of the price for room. resturant a bit expensive but near many good resturants. stayed 2 nights, night first time around room was ok, though window had no views. at least clean. 2nd time around room was not so nice, toilet was also not completely clean. they gave us another room which was better. for the price its worth it. would stay there again for sure. bath room and room refurbished.
