Overall it was a good experience for a 3 star hotel. The room service was helpful in providing me ice for my injury. However, a couple times I would have to call again to remind them for something after already stating my room number to them.
I didn’t really enjoy the restaurant food, it was very expensive for a 3 star hotel but I assume that’s due to the area that the hotel is located in. I also found it strange when the reception staff mentioned to me it was apparently “forbidden to order food from outside to the hotel” when I when down to the lobby to collect my food order. I had been ordering in food all week since I was recovering from an ankle injury, I wasn’t feel physically and mentally well enough to eat out often. This “policy” was never mentioned to me prior. I don’t believe this policy is fair as in certain circumstances some people are not able to eat out and the hotels restaurant food was expensive and to be honest not very tasty at all in my opinion.
The hotel was clean and the cleaning staff was very friendly. It is also located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset over the marina during our stay.
