This hotel is a bit dated and is in need of renovation. The rooms are not bad, but for example the carpet was very dirty. The shower thermostat was defective and at one time it was 100 degrees and at another time it was 10. The staff was polite and very helpful. They did everything to make you happy. The breakfast was well prepared. It was perfect by Turkish standards, but tasteless and boring by European standards! Furthermore, about Istanbul I must say that as a tourist you are not really welcome. Double prices are charged everywhere, Turkish and Foreigner. For example, a ticket for the museums costs €3 for Turkish people and €32 for foreigners, discrimination everywhere. I had also rented a car, but I really regretted it because of the idiotic driving behavior of the Turks. Turks really can't drive, they don't understand the rules and drive like idiots. So very dangerous. All in all, good hotel but Istanbul NO.

The room was well equipped, spacious and had a nice bathroom. Staff was very friendly and made you feel 'at home'. Very nice is, that the hotel has its own parking garage. We travelled by own car and we could park under the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

I would say it was an average experience. Our room has some damages like toilet door knob was broken,lamp button was also broken, one of the hanging lamp was broken and tv wasn't working at all always showing a poor signal. AC was not that powerful. Breakfast menu was also too repetitive. For such money if someone is getting such kind of room then it's not worth it.

The hotel lobby and restaurant were great, and the staff were nice, except for the first night when they refused to switch my room despite some issues like a non-working AC and safe, dirty carpets, and occasional sewage smell. I tried to get them to change my room, but gave up as I didn't even want to walk on the dirty carpet. However, they did send someone to replace the safe, and it turned out the AC was actually working, but the staff, a couple of young girls working late at night, didn't know how to help me. On the other hand, the rest of the hotel, including the lobby, was very modern and clean. The food was decent, and the staff encountered in the days after were helpful and pleasant.

The 3 star rating has nothing to do with the staff, who were all excellent. It's more to do with policy. I chose to stay here in Turkey to recover from an operation. I wanted somewhere modern, clean, fairly quiet with a buffet breakfast and room service. All requirements were met. The main issue was the heating. The hotel is incredibly hot. All the time. It's 26c outside and this is considered winter, so they pump out hot air all the time. The aircon can not be activated in any room during the winter. It's April here. So I wasn't really able to sleep or rest well as I was baking continuously. I was also moved three times within the first 12 hours as there were electrical issues in two rooms. Which meant being on a different floor from my son who was visiting Istanbul with me. So if you like want a hotel with aircon and your not visiting in whatever the companies idea of summer is, be ready for a hot stay
