Gastonvriendelijk & asociaal. Housekeepers waren wel vriendelijk. Wij hadden tweemaal lekker thee gedronken. Ik wist niet dat je in het hotelrestaurant gelijk moest gaan afrekenen, maar pas bij de check-out. Het hotelpersoneel belde minstens 3x ons wakker om de rekening te betalen en uiteindelijk hardhandig op de deur gebonkt voor maar 60 Turkse Lira, echt triest dat ze dit doen! Ze deden alsof ik zou wegrennen, terwijl ik 2 nachten ging overnachten. Locatie is goed gelegen, verder geen positieve punten. Bedden kraken bij elke beweging.

Locatie hotel is super geen woorden voor maar hotel is geen 5* waard... Kamers waren oud badkamer veel gebreken hotelkamer niet denderend schoon tapijt met vlekken laminaat die uitstak op bepaalde plekken. De locatie en de romantiek zorgt ervoor dat het allemaal niet opvalt en niet uitmaakt...

De locatie van het hotel is perfect, maar het is geen 5 sterrenwaardig. Oud kamers, waar bijna alles kapot is. Ik heb daar samen met mijn vrouw 6 nachten verbleven en heb 1000 Turkse liras per nachr betaald. Voor dit geld mag je echt wel wat verwachten. Ik raad het niemand aan om in dit hotel te verblijven. De douche werkte niet goed, het bed kraakt bij elke beweging, alle elektra knoppen aan de muur vallen constant er van af, de toegangskaart die werkte niet moesten wij weer naar de receptie om hem te laten update. Kortom het is alles behalve een 5 sterren. Het personeel doet zijn werk goed.

Prima hotel, mooie ontbijtzaal, met terras aan het water. Vlakbij is een erg gezellig pleintje, eveneens aan het water. Er zijn goedkopere en (veel) duurdere kamers met uitzicht op de Bosporus, de wat goedkopere hebben geen frontaal uitzicht, maar door een zijraam. Hoe verder je van het water weg zit, hoe schuiner dus het aanzicht. Oppassen met taxi's, want er zijn twee Radisson hotels, een aan de Bosporus en een bij het vliegveld.

Superrrrr hotel
Bij volgende reis naar istanbul neem ik zeker het zelfde hotel. We hadden een superieur kamer genomen. Kamer had een super uitzicht alleen had geen balkon of terras. Volgende keer zeker een kamer nemen met een terras. Bij mooi weer is het echt rust gevend. Ontbijt is zeker een aanrader. Alleen wel inclusief boeken anders is het dubbel zo duur. Met 1 woord, heerlijkkkkk. Je kan kiezen voor binnen of buiten eten op de terras met een uitzicht op de bosphorus.

The property is very old, our room was for two people not three as described, extra bed was very uncomfortable. We booked full Bosphorus view room but we got partial sea view!!! We tried to cancel the reservation and requested a refund from the first night but our request was rejected so our entire trip to Istanbul was affected! The termostat in the room was not working so we were very cold at night and we got sick! I am not sure how this hotel is rated as 5 stars when they don’t even have a pool. I will not book a stay in this hotel ever again.

29 Ekim bogaz gösterileri için tercih etmiştik ancak gösteri söylendiği gibi burada yapılmadı ,bizde rezervasyonumuzu iptal etmek istedik ama yardımcı olunamadı,ayrıca kaldığımız oda da ses yalıtımı yoktu sabaha kadar dışarıdan gelen araç ve ce insan sesleri ile bina içerisindeki kapı ,asansör seslerinden uyuyamadık ,tam bir hayal kırıklığı oldu açıkçası ,resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar iyi niyetli ve yardım severdi

Best View in Istanbul?
The location cannot be beat, with room and expansive terrace overlooking the "First Bridge" crossing Bosphorous Asia-Europe for 100th Anniversary of Turkiye's Republic Day. So close to the water, with unobstructed view all the way to Topkapi. Excellent hotel service. Parking very convenient. Pet friendly. About 75m to Ortakoy ferry & area with endless restaurants and small shops so popular with locals. Further east & north about 1km are city's chic waterfront nightclubs, nestled near the Fer Mas dealership featuring Ferraris & Maseratis for sale, so it is upscale and safe neighborhood. Narrow winding streets, hidden expansive courtyards, enticing alleyways all reinforce your decision to visit Istanbul. The facility can use some updating, so hope the relatively new Radisson ownership may decide to invest further to upgrade the brand to be on par with the so many other offerings on Bosphorous shoreline, listed here just casually from memory: 3 along the shore that are based or affiliated in Hong Kong, 1 Bangkok, 1 Toronto, 1 Geneva, and if a bit further inland a bit from the shore: 1 high end and 1 even higher end France based, several McLean (Virginia, USA) based, lots TRK based, and even more with brand based in Bethesda (Maryland, USA), and one very high end well inland located in top shopping area that is France based. Lots of options in IST for guest to choose; Radisson Blu should consider upgrades to attract clientele commensurate with its prime location.

Very old run down rooms with stained upholstery, door knobs falling off, white dust raining from the ceiling, curtains coming off, the ac gets turned off remotely at random times by the hotel. The terrace is nice.
