Sorry your experience wasn't good. Having to make a repair to the main breaker to our electric is not an easy task and can take longer than expected.

Our overall stay was pretty good. From what the website said to what I was charged was different of $20, plus an additional charge of $50 that was returned back to me after check out. But there were no hidden fees, no where on the website did it say anything about the $50. Friday night and Saturday night, I had to go to the desk to get the room card fixed so I could get into my room. Needless to say, my husband was not very happy.

We are sorry about the confusion. The price difference is the taxes, we have state, city, and occupancy taxes which this website is not currently calculating correctly.

Its is definitely a truckers motel. Very loud all night with highway traffic & rigs as they go in & out all night. This motel sits in top of a truck stop. If you enjoy lot lizards, this is your place!

Thank you for the input. Our hotel does sit above a convienence store and is next to a highway that much is true. As far as lot lizards, that is not how we operate and is definatly not something allowed. If you mhad an issue you could have brought it to our attention but to unfairly label us as a truckstop hotel for prostitutes is very unfair and completly wrong.

We booked a room here after deciding last minute to come to set up early for the annual TCR Festival we are vendors at. All options in Waxahachie were booked up. This spot was convenient, clean, and staff were efficient and friendly. Several dining options nearby, open late too! Would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway
Convenient and economical would have been nice to have a mini fridge, for medications. Overall comfortable and definitely clean.

The TV was small there was no refrigerator and there was no microwave. That’s the only reason why I booked the rooms so it was a very big inconvenience for the weekend. overall, the room was quite clean and we also had an issue with our keys. They worked one day and not the next. It is a convenient hotel because you have the store, but need to be on the Denny’s next-door but Disney’s next-door is not the greatest slow service for quality of food

Truck stop motel, loud, water pressure was terrible and the water shut off right in the middle of my shower. Remote was broke so the tv didn’t work. Not a very pleasant experience.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little hotel room.It was very clean, the bath tub, bsthroom area, sheets, etc. The AC worked great, the pillows were comfortable. The mattress was MOSTLY comfortable. I will definitely stay again when driving through again.

Our apologizes for that delay. It took two hours to find an adapter compatible with our system to fix the issue we were having.

Clean room and comfortable bed. The quality of the facilities is commensurate with the price. But it serves its purpose: a place for an overnight stay on a road trip at a reasonable price. Room was most notable for having a CRT TV instead of a flat screen. I didn’t know those were still made!

Comfortable Room, Strange Location
COMFORTABLE budget-friendly room, strange location. My husband and I stayed bere one night in May because of the unbeatable price. The location is weird - it's above a gas station/convenience store, attached to a fast fokd chicken place. Check-in was in the gas station store. Lots of truckers in rhe parking lot, which caused some noise during the night. But our room was clean, spacious, and SUPER comfortable- we slept great! Water lressure was quite low in the shower, but I imagine that issue could be fixed soon. Ovrrall, we would stay here again.

Room was clean & comfy. Staff was terrible! Family member also booked a room. When he arrived they said they had no rooms left. He had to get a room 12 miles away. Next morning we talked to manager. She said they did have rooms, but staff just didn't want to be bothered with checking him in! Don't think I would recommend this hotel solely due to staff.

Hotel’s internet was down so it took a long time to get checked in. Then our room key didn’t work. Room is large and clean. Lots of highway noise.

Would stay again.
Check in, young lady was VERY rude. Room, nice and big for the price, bed was comfy, room was clean. A bit noisy though. It is right next to the busy freeway and it is also a truck stop so if you are a light sleeper, wear ear plugs. Would I stay there again, absolutely.

The staff was professional. Ms Kendra was an absolute joy to deal with and recommend she be considered for a pay increase. She is very much a positive addition to your customer service team. It's not a real dislike but was just a surprise that there was not small fridge or microwave in the room. My husband is insulin diabetic and needed use of a small fridge.

Stayed 4 nights. The TV in the room was from the 80s a big boxy thing that kept freezing up , no microwave or mini fridge.

Updates are slowly happening here at Italy Inn. One by one we are updating rooms we have started with our single rooms and suite and are working on our doubles. The busy season slowed our progress but we strive to improve every day. Thank you for the input.
